It's a quiet beach hideaway, South of HWY 30-A and away of traffic.
We are in the Eastern Lake area hidden in the palm trees, magnolias, scrub oaks, palmettos and pines.... and we're waiting for you! Our house is closer to the beach than most of the homes in Watercolor, Seaside or Rosemary Beach. Guests enjoy the large kitchen with two dishwashers, open floor plan and lots of seating. We have also received many thanks for the front-loading washers and dryers found on both floors one and two. The den provides ample living space, but the gulf view beckons you outside on the huge covered veranda to daydream and relax. The third floor has water observation deck with an incredible breathtaking view, which also provides a great sunset. Our guests said they felt that they were at a relative's home because the home was well equipped for their family with beach toys, baby bed, and everything their family needed.
Floors two and three sleep a total of six people. There are two kings, one queen bed. You will also find a roll-away portable baby crib. There are 7 flat-panel televisions with cable in the house. Each floor has at least one DVD player.
The lower level, lanai and pool deck floor is accessed by way of an exterior spiral staircase on the gulf side. The lower floor is also accessed by a straight stair on the north side exterior. The first floor has a den with comfy seating, three bedrooms, two full baths, (2 king-size beds and one room with 2 queen size beds). The kitchenette has a fridge with an ice maker, microwave, sink and a coffee maker. There is a stainless steel gas grill on the first floor deck.
Both the upstairs and downstairs double doors open to the oversize large private pool which is 15 feet by 30 feet. The house is a short walk away from Eastern Lake, a rare coastal dune lake, where fresh water mixes with gulf water. The lake is a fascinating place for children. Young ones can spend days watching tiny fish and baby crabs in calm ankle deep water next to the surf. Kayaking and fishing are also popular activities on Eastern Lake. Seaside is just up the road on the bike trail. This is a great retreat for families to gather, play and unwind. There is 1,000 square feet of outdoor covered porch decks with lots of outdoor furniture for lounging on the porches and decks.
