About Rachel Rephan Ginsburg
Our father built this house over 80 years ago, and to brag for him, it's survived every storm having lost only two shingles - even the terrible Hugo in 1989!

This home was built many years ago and still hold its southern beach charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay1
Oh, Emily, and we thoroughly enjoyed having you stay and how nice of you to write this lovely note. Very best and thank you to you all, Rachel
Great house close to beach
This location was perfect and Rachel was a great host! The stay was very comfortable with 7 adults and a toddler. We loved the rooftop deck, the kitchen was well equipped, and we were very close to beach access. We made great memories here around the big dining table and are hoping to be back again!
What a warm and lovely review. That you made great memories made our hearts sing. Please do come back again. Love to you all, Rachel
Best wedding ever
We wanted a place that some of the family could share during my son's wedding celebration in Charleston. Everyone loved the house. It had comfortable feel and was very well equipped. The location was perfect - right next to beautiful beaches, close to restaurants and accessible to downtown. We particularly enjoyed watching kite boarders, and the meteor shower view from roof top deck was outstanding. Owner was super helpful and friendly. We'd come back anytime.
What a lovely, lovely review and what wonderful guests you were in every way. Can't sing enough praises and hope we'll get to meet in person one day!! Love to all, Rachel
Best beach ever!
I would rather keep this amazing beach a secret - it is by far the greatest beach for families and dogs that I have ever experienced. Our house is full of character with a porch for chatting, yoga and reading. We are just steps from the entrance to the beach.
Thank you so much for your terrific and lovely review. You were terrific and perfect guests in every way, and we long to meet you in person one day. Soon!
Lovely rustic home in ideal location!
We were looking for a beach rental on Sullivan's Island that would allow us to bring our two Golden Retrievers. Rachel's home was the perfect spot for us! It's rustic and withstood Hurricane Hugo in 1989, so two big active dogs fit right in. There's even a hose attached to the outdoor shower to rinse off dogs after playing on the beach. Rachel is a wonderful off-site host who called ahead of and during our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. Getting to the entrance on the second floor requires that you climb two flights of stairs, so if that's a problem for any of your guests, this isn't the house for you. Otherwise, it's a wonderful rental!
Oh, Lauren! What lovely compliments - and stars!!! We absolutely loved having you at the house (all of you - and your 2 Goldens! You took such good care of things with them! Perfect guests). Please keep in touch and come back soon. Warmest everything to all of you, Rachel - and all of us!

Nice older home near the beach
Our charming, old island house is about 130 yards from the very wide and beautiful Sullivan's Island beach and about 20 minutes from historic Charleston SC . Lots of history on the island from Fort Moultrie, the site of the first shot of the Civil War, Revolutionary War sites, to sites of Edgar Allen Poe's many stories for which the island was his inspiration.
