Our ocean view condominium is kept updated and comfortably furnished to offer you a relaxing, quiet, and enjoyable vacation. You'll love the bamboo floors, which lends to the clean, open feeling of our wonderful condo. This top floor end unit also offers great ocean and mountain views from our lanai. There's a convenience store in the front of the complex, which is an excellent feature when you need something last minute. The complex is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We have 2 pools, a great sandy beach, and an oceanfront cabana for dining at or just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Or, you can just enjoy the gorgeous views from the lanai. We strive to offer everything you'll need for your memorable vacation.

This place had it all. Pool by the ocean, private places to lounge and even a liquor store at the street. The room had everything too. Coolers beach chairs (the good ones) and the kitchen was well equipped. The lanai had a sofa and a place it eat. The pictures should be updated because this place is way nicer in person.

The building is older but very well maintained. The apartment was vey clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Close enough to town and other amenities. The 2 pools were great.we enjoyed having a beach umbrella and chairs available.

Beautiful view of sunsets

Nice Condo and Perfect Location

Our stay here was wonderful! The condo was set up with everything we needed, including lots of extras. The complex was beautiful and quiet. We loved the oceanfront saltwater pool and private beach. The location on the island was perfect for us, close to Costco and other amenities, in addition to allowing us to take a few separate day trips to the northern part of the island, southern part/Volcanoes National Park, and the eastern side/Hilo for more exploring.

Week long stay at Casa De Emdeko

Great stay at Christy's condo! This is a very nice complex- grounds are beautifully kept and the ocean front pool and beach area are so nice, especially for sunset viewing. Sweet lanai view as well and appreciated being on the 3rd floor and away from the pools. Very quiet, we slept well on comfy bed! Everything we needed for cooking at home, good central location for base camp for Kona adventures. Appreciated having cooler bag and beach umbrella to use during our stay! We would easily stay here again if available. Recommend highly!

I had a wonderful stay. This unit upstairs allowed for a morning on the lanai where the sun would rise behind and shine in the ocean in front. Just a quick walk to the front on the condo to the ocean front, salt water pool. Becasue of the unit location it does look over the open air “lobby” Unit was comfortable, nicely stocked kitchen, and the in unit washer and dryer was a plus! Love the Casa and this unit was wonderful.

We enjoyed being close to the water. The high surf for most of our stay made the ocean beautiful to look at. Nice sunsets! The condo is well appointed and Christy was quick to respond to our queries. It's nice to have an end unit where no one walks past your bedroom.

Unit was very clean and well appointed: great bed, large bathroom, all the kitchen amenities as well as great pots and pans. The host also provided great beach chairs and beach towels! The air conditioner was very efficient, as were the washer and dyer and dishwasher. We loved the grounds and especially the sea pool, the 'beach' and BBQ's and eating area. The grounds were beautiful. We were there for the month of January and would definitely stay here again, with hesitation.

Quiet and comfortable

We (couple fraom germany) stayed at this condo in January 2009. We loved it! Quiet, complete and comfortable, nice people, rather small with about 60 units. Clean pools, wonderful gardens, nice small (artificial) beach. Very good and uncomplicated owner - thank you, Chris!

Nice location

This is a one bedroom condo that needs an update. The condo complex is great with two nice pools and nice plantings. The condo itself is a bit shabby; needs an update.

Fairly close to downtown, nice waterfront BBQ, pool and sunset watching area. Nice big lanai, but with public access around the side. Not quite certain what the Newly Remodeled refers to (hence the Hmmmm....) ... and the bed was quite on the firm side.

Hi Brian, I am sorry to hear you only felt your stay could warrant 2 stars. We strive to ensure our guest have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. What could we have done to improve upon that? As for the newly remodeled, it was done just a few years ago. All of the furniture and appliances are about 5 years old or less. Most units in that complex are not as well equiped or maintained and have not had a virtually complete overhaul like this unit.

Well equipped apartment in a beautiful tropical setting. All equipment that you might ever want at the beach is supplied. Protected parking. Everybody is quiet and respectful of others. The condo is very well set up, lots of kitchen equipment, nice comfortable bed The only issue with the stay was the property HOA controls the water/ hot water and they had repairs that needed done, causing us to be without water a couple times for a few hours- Regardless of that would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Casa on a vacation to the Big Island. We absolutely fell in love with the complex. Our unit was for sale while we were there and we decided we had to have it. A year and a half later, we bought our second unit. We love to come here and enjoy our units. We try to make them our home away from home.
