Pleasant house in a quiet seaside area

Pleasant house located at the gates of La Rochelle, in a very quiet and residential area, 6km from the old port of La Rochelle and 3km from the first beach (Aytré).

The house is close to all amenities: bakery, butcher, supermarket, pharmacy, fast food, bank ... Many cycle paths offer pleasant walks by the sea or to simply reach the city center.

Very easy access to the most famous tourist sites in the city.

Ile de Ré 20 km away, Ile d'Oléron 60 km away.

2 bus lines (stop 100m away) serve the station (4km) and LR city center (every 20 mins).

The garden is closed. It consists of a wooden terrace, a garden furniture (table and eight chairs), 2 deckchairs and a plancha.

The basic products (toilet paper, dishwasher, detergent, hand washing soap, cleaning products) are available on your arrival.

The bedding is fitted with draw sheets. We provide travelers with duvets and pillows. We do not provide sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers.

Aytré is the 5th commune of Charente-Maritime. Border to the south with La Rochelle, there is a large beach which extends for almost 2km between the Pointe de Roux to the north (continuity from the Pointe des Minimes de La Rochelle) and the Pointe du Chay to the south (on horseback with Angoulins) in a shallow bay known for its oyster farming.

In the vicinity of Aytré, Chatelaillon-Plage is also a lively seaside resort in summer. This is where we find the largest beach in the north of Charente-Maritime. On the north side, the Ile de Ré is a must with its many beaches. It is accessible by a bridge north of La Rochelle (chargeable). On the south side, Aix Island can be a day trip (accessible from Fouras by boat, you can rent bikes).

The beaches of Aytré, Chatelaillon and Les Minimes are accessible by cycle paths along the sea.

The city of Aytré has 2 discovery trails. A good opportunity to discover the city !!

Near the house, 2 bus lines (stop 100m away) serve the train station (4km) and the city center of La Rochelle (every 10 mins).

The house is close to all amenities, many shops are within walking distance.
