Wonderful and very well appointed “farmhouse” rental in southwest harbor . The owner was very informative of the area and quick to respond in communication . The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed . I would happily return and recommend to my friends to stay there .
Super cute place, very clean and has everything we needed. It wasn’t as secluded as I had hoped from the pictures, but it was great nonetheless. Definitely a lovely place to stay, especially if visiting Acadia.

Charming farmhouse with own parking spot. Located near many hikes. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor aren't too far. The farmhouse location is quiet with less hussle & bustle. Perfect place for two people.
We enjoyed our 3 day stay. The Carriage House was as described and comfortable for the 2 of us. Well located for travel around Acadia and beyond. Ingrid responded imediately for help with the internet and followed up with a call to make sure we were fine. Great to have a washer/dryer too!
Great 4 night stay. Good location far enough from Bar Harbor crowd, but close enough to get to everywhere. Plenty of good spots to eat around the immediate area - Little Crust Bakery, Beal’s Lobster, and Peter Trouts.
Very nice country style barn like (smell of the old wood) home that is perfect for a couple. Not very far from Acadia and bar harbor. We went in the fall and it was beautiful.
We had a fantastic experience staying at ingrid’s place. She was very welcoming and provided clear instructions for check-in. Ingrid had clear and timely communication. The place was very clean and nicely decorated, and had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to local attractions and dining options. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome note and bottle of wine on the kitchen table. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay.
This place is as advertised. Well located, within walking distance of some excellent shops and restaurants. Good for two people- nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.
Perfect location. Just the right size for husband and I. So cute. Beautiful solid wood floors quiet area right by SW Harbor of Acadia NP.
Highly recommend
The location was great for visiting Acadia all 3 days we hiked and we could come back to our rental to rest and there were several great restaurants nearby. Ingrid responded quickly to my question about the grill on the property.
This cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We loved the location- away from the chaos of bar harbor but within walking distance of several great restaurants. It was very convenient to everything we wanted to do on our visit. Great, clear communication from the host. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
Perfect spot on the quiet side! Everything was just right in the property, the bed was so comfortable and the 2 recliners were a welcome relief after a long day of hiking! Highly recommend!
This is a really neat old farmhouse with ceiling beams and an old barn door with all you need. Convenient to Bar Harbor(10-15 min) and a grocery site just down the road. Acadia National Park is all around.
The Carriage house was a quaint and homely building, perfect for a couple looking for a place to stage many Maine adventures! It had plenty of space and everything we needed to live comfortably. The fans were well placed and it allowed for a good circulation of fresh air in the mornings/evenings! Each window having it's own shade meant that you can allow as much natural light (which was beautiful) or have as much privacy to kick back and relax.
Ingrid is very responsive, she answered all our questions in good time and she's very detail oriented! A great host for sure!
Recommended for any couple looking to be close to the Maine attraction but feel at home!
We had a comfortable stay at the Carriage House, which was in a short distance to town. We had an anniversary dinner at Red Sky which was delicious. Although close to the main road, we heard little to no noise at night. Everything was provided at the cottage and it was perfect for two people.
Lovely cottage, very clean, large rooms, comfy bed and great shower. Had everything we needed with clear explanations in cottage. Perfect for a couple. Good communication with Ingrid.
We rented for a little get away for our 25th anniversary. The house was sweet very comfortable. We had issue with internet and the host was very quick to fix. Would definitely stay again if we ever make our way nack to Maine
