The Carriage House is a charming converted barn located in Southwest Harbor and within walking distance of downtown. Multiple Acadia National Park access points are within 2 miles of the Carriage House. Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. A perfect hideaway for 2 people looking for a quaint retreat. The Carriage House was recently renovated and air conditioning has been added. The perfect spot for a getaway. 3 night minimum stay unless otherwise indicated on the calendar.

Our stay was comfortable, cozy, and ideal for our time visiting Acadia NP. Ingrid is a gracious host and the lodging was wonderful! We definitely would stay here again and we definitely recommend this place to stay. Love it!!

Super clean in a convenient location for the quieter side of MDI. Had a few deer great us as we were heading out for the trails one morning. House was clean and tidy. Well decorated.

We absolutely loved the property. Great location in Southwest Harbor. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Close to Acadia. Southwest Harbor is quiter than Bar Harbor. We spent more time in Southwest Harbor than Bar Harbor; we really enjoyed it!Excellent proporty, strongly recommended!Thank you!

Old farmhouse building that has been nicely renovated. Communication with Ingrid was fantastic. Every little thing we needed was there. Instructions were clear. Nice to have a king bed and air conditioning. It was also fun to see the deer in the back yard.

Great Place for Couple

Great 4 night stay. Good location far enough from Bar Harbor crowd, but close enough to get to everywhere. Plenty of good spots to eat around the immediate area - Little Crust Bakery, Beal’s Lobster, and Peter Trouts.

The property was exactly as described and it was perfect for the two of us. It was exactly what we needed. The kitchen and sitting area was great and we loved playing chess and the other games when we had some down time.

Wonderful

Super cute place, very clean and has everything we needed. It wasn’t as secluded as I had hoped from the pictures, but it was great nonetheless. Definitely a lovely place to stay, especially if visiting Acadia.

My wife and I spent 5 nights here and this property worked well for us. Clean and great location - short walk into town/restaurants and easy access to Acadia. Only minor issue that might affect some guests is lack a bedroom door. The kitchen is adjacent to the bedroom and noise travels easily. Otherwise a great spot for an Acadia visitor wanting to be close to Southwest Harbor.

Great Place!

Very nice country style barn like (smell of the old wood) home that is perfect for a couple. Not very far from Acadia and bar harbor. We went in the fall and it was beautiful.
