The many shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor are also sure to delight and when you're ready for more adventure, head over to nearby Long Pond to enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming in the National Park. And once ready to explore Bar Harbor and the other areas of Acadia, just pop back to Main Street again to catch the free Island Explorer shuttle to reach the east side of Mt. Desert Island.
