About this property

The Brass Crab - Check in/out any day!

This charming rancher is ready to welcome you and your family. Come make memories in the cozy and relaxing space. Enjoy this redone home on large lot perfect for family games of kickball and tag after a fun day at the beach. This home sleeps 8-9 folks comfortably. It has a stocked kitchen, a dining area and living room with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is an outdoor shower and foot rinse (April-November). Just added for Fall 2024: Disc Golf unit for the backyard and 8 new outdoor chairs.
The driveway can hold roughly 8 vehicles, please do not park (or drive) on the grass. This home is walking distance to the Veterans Park (.8 mile) and is away from the town's bustle. We are a 7 minute drive to the beach and roughly a 20 minute bike to the beach. The Brass Crab is set up with families in mind with child friendly spaces, bunk beds and open places to play, but can easily work for 3 couples as well.
Queen rooms are on the East side of the house, the other two bedrooms are on the west. The main living space is in the middle of the 4 bedrooms. All rooms have white noise makers and blackout curtains.
All rooms have space for a pack-n-play. A pack-n-play, portable highchair, and a diaper changing pad are available in the bunk closet. This closet also contains outdoor games and the rainy day box. We will leave these in place but recommend you clean them prior to your use.
There is 1 TV in the living room and wireless internet. We provide Prime video and Netflix.
This is a 3/4 acre lot with a large front yard and a fenced backyard. A walkway, patio, and fire pit area have been added to the outdoor space for additional fun and relaxation! You'll need to bring your own wood, and you'll want bug spray.

Our neighbors on all sides are year round residents. Reported issues or disrespectful behavior to any neighbor is grounds for immediate removal.
Trash must be moved to the street on Thursdays and must be contained in cans. If you have extra please take it to the dump on the island.

We had a great weekend stay! The house was great for our 2 families with a well stocked kitchen to cook, games and toys for kids, and a big yard. It was centrally located with a quick drive to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We were all comfortable and would definitely return!

The Brass Crab is a fantastic house for a family vacation. While not overly large, it comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 young children. The kitchen was appropriately stocked and there were plenty of baby items so you don’t have to pack your own. The house was extremely clean. While we didn’t use the backyard, it is a nice large flat yard to play outside. The host was very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area. Definitely recommended.

Why they chose this property

We love the quiet low-key local feel of Chincoteague. We wanted a one level home with plenty of bedrooms. Also we are huge Island Creamery fans, we are working our way through the whole flavor list!

What makes this property unique
