This home is mere steps away from many of the amenities that Long Island Village has to offer. You can relax in the hot tub, take a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools, fit in a workout at the fitness center, or play basketball, tennis, golf, or mini-golf. You'll also be only a mile south of central Port Isabel and just across the causeway from beaches and nightlife on South Padre Island.

*You must check in at the Long Island Village Resort Center to pay for parking passes (two vehicles maximum) and wristbands. This is an $90 fee that will be paid directly to the Long Island Village HOA on arrival and is not included in your Vacasa fees. If the LIV office is closed, you will need to drive up to the gate. On the keypad, there are instructions for contacting security on call; they will come to the gate. You will be registered and security will allow you through the gate for the night. You will need to go back to the LIV office the next morning to check in. They will provide you with vehicle passes and amenity bracelets.

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet.
Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Decided to do something different for the Holiday. This is our 2nd stay with Vrbo and Vacasa and they made us feel so welcomed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a pie with a card saying Happy Thanksgiving! This made our day. Can’t wait to book again here soon. ( There were minor blind issues that had been from wear and tear and the lazy boy was a bit torn), other than that we had an incredible stay!!!

Hidden resort fee, ants, and no AC in bedrooms
First let me start off with the good. The property is not far from restaurants in Port Isabella. Access to the canal on Long Island is a plus, but not great for fishing (other than catfish). Unfortunately there are quite a few bad. The VRBO listing did not mention a very expensive resort fee. My one day booking more than doubled! Be warned! There are ants in the kitchen counters and baseboard. And the AC in the bedrooms stopped working in the middle of the night. I texted back and forth with the property manager (Vacasa) but they could not tell me where the breaker panel was to reset the breaker for the AC. I ended up sleeping in my car while the kids slept in the living room. The offered to refund my booking but it was 4am by that time, and I wasn't going to wake up my kids. Needless to say, I will not be going back here, nor will I be booking with any property that is managed by Vacasa.
