Our cozy cottages offer added privacy with all the comforts of home. Enjoy your own, fully equipped, eat-in kitchen, as well as a stackable washer/dryer, 50" flat screen TV, corner fireplaces, free WiFi, private back porch with mountain views, covered breezeway with outdoor grill, outdoor dining and casual seating for outdoor gatherings. We also have outdoor seating along the banks of the babbling brook.

Very clean comfortable stay

Cute little place close to downtown. The manager,Carolyn, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She even had baked goods waiting for us!!! The only issue is the front door lock/keypad needs repair as it takes several tries to open front door.

Amazing get away to the mountains

My partner and I have stayed at this property multiple times. It is always clean, and in great working order. If there is ever an issue the property owners are quick to respond and take care of it as soon as possible. We have never felt like we are inconvenience to them. We love this location because we can either stay at the cottage and relax or go do things that are conveniently located nearby.

Communication with the owner was incredible. Instructions on how to get in were clear. The cottage is in excellent condition. Everything needed to enjoy our visit was included. TV and internet worked great. Everything was extremely clean. Off street parking spaces were adjacent to the cottages with a lit walkway to the front door. The cottages are located next door to a country club.

Pleasant place n location

Very nice ,altho it could use a more comfortable sofa n chair for living room. Bed was high but comfortable . Fire place was great. Quite area. Nice outdoor setting.

Thanks for your feedback, Betty. We felt that providing a sleeper sofa was more important than a super soft sofa. I agree that most sleeper sofas are not quite as comfortable due to the firmness of the support needed for the bed below. The chair in the bedroom can be brought into the living room for those who need additional seating in the living area. We just didn't want to crowd the space with furniture so we made that an optional seat for either room. We are, however, happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay in our area. Mountain Getaway

The property itself was perfect, it was spotless without any issues. Looks brand new inside and out. It is downtown but was a plus for getting things you need and eating places. It was central to all the places we wanted to go and see and dealing with the owners was great. No issues whatsoever.

Perfect location, immaculate, comfortable!

We came to the mountains to get away from the heat down east, kayak and hike to a few waterfalls. It was nice to be so close to downtown Waynesville and right next door to a golf course. We enjoyed good food at Boojum Brewery and Taproom and at The Sweet Onion. The cottages at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn are private, impeccably clean and well appointed with everything you need. This was a great place to quarantine and we cannot wait to come back!

Spyder riding trip

We were looking for a place that was easy access to roads to ride our Can Am Spyders and a place to relax. We found it! The lodge was a perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs watching the sunset every night after a day of riding on the mountain roads. What was advertised is what you got! The place was fantastic! Thanks for having us and we plan to return.

Honeymoon Stay

We loved staying at Brookside Mountain Mist! It was a wonderful cottage with everything we would need, the property and hosts were awesome and gracious. The location is not touristy, but just a short drive from everything we wanted to do...hike, kayak, raft, float, visit local breweries and restaurants. We will stay here again if we ever visit the Smokies again!!

Our extended-stay cottages offer all the comforts of home with the convenience of being only one mile from downtown Waynesville. No scary mountain roads to drive or steep driveways to navigate. We are located on the valley floor across the street from the Waynesville Country Club which boasts a beautiful new 18 hole golf course. Downtown Waynesville, with quaint shops and excellent dining, is walking distance.

What makes this property unique

Privacy without being far from the conveniences of town. Mountain views without the mountain driving or steep driveways. You'll get all of the privacy and flexibility of a VRBO-style accommodation with all the benefits of a B&B clean. We just don't know how to clean any other way!!
