Perfect Stay for a Perfect Girls Weekend

Suzanne and Dave are the perfect hosts! The stay was perfect in every way. The room was immaculate and cozily appointed. For our last night Dave built a fire in the fire pit and it was just the thing to top off a wonderful weekend. I will definitely be making a return trip!

What a hidden gem! New. Immaculate. Clean. Decorated at every inch to perfection. Host Suzanne provided snacks, small fridge with cold drinks, as well as a Keurig. I spent the weekend shopping antiques at Round Top Spring show. The property is incredibly peaceful and quiet. Deer and song birds. Woods to hike and a large outdoor patio to relax. A perfect place to spend time away to find a peaceful place to unwind yet close enough to several area towns. I will be back.

Our stay at Texas Day Trip in New Ulm, was so thoroughly refreshing. My husband and I were only able to get away for one night, but we felt worlds away from our busy city life and came back so relaxed. Thank you Suzanne for making it feel like it was our place in the country.

There are So Very Few Places to Truly Un-plug from Technology and Re-connect with Nature as You De-stress In The Quiet Solitude of a Pastoral Setting. Long Walks, Read a Book, Write, Play Cards, or Just Sit and Think/Create. There is a Magnificent Fire Pit - Perfect for Events - that is Available. However, Renters Must Have Prior Approval From Owners Before Using as There are Occasional Burn Bans in the Area. Fire Protection Protocols Must Be in Place Prior to Lighting the Fire Pit. We can also provide a DVD Movie Library and TV, if you really need Technology and are going through withdrawal, but those items should be requested prior to arrival. Wi-Fi is Now Available in Individual Guest Rooms.

Go for a hike, listen to the owls, enjoy peace and quiet! We Have Had Several Long Term Stays of Over 30 Days, Because it is Easy to Fall in Love with this Part of Texas!
