About this property
Cozy nature cabin in charming New Ulm with AC
Nestled in New Ulm, this delightful cabin offers a brilliant escape for guests. With a cozy bedroom featuring a queen sofa bed and a large twin sofa bed in the living room, this quaint retreat is perfect for a small group, maximum 5, looking to unwind. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like an pond with pier, two balconies, front and back porches, heating, AC, and a washing machine/dryer, acres of walking trails, and a petting zoo during your stay. We hope you enjoy what our place and New Ulm have to offer. Warm bread, fresh eggs from Birdie and Betty, juice, bacon, butter, orange rolls to bake. Curly headed Oreo Boy (belted Galloway miniature steer) and donkey boy Silver may saunter by. Silver loves to be petted. Oreo Boy is very shy. If you don’t eat all the bread, you can put pieces on the porch railing and watch wildlife come to eat. From Lily Pond pier, you can feed the fish and turtles.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Friends were there for a motorcycle gathering so we didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin but it was incredibly neat tidy and really enjoyed the overall setting. Our host was absolutely fantastic and incredibly accommodating and could not have been more inviting. Will definitely be staying here again next time we're in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and stay a little bit further away from the hustle and bustle.
Linda was a wonderful host. She provided a cozy place to stay with all the resources you would expect from a rental and more. Her animals are adorable and friendly. Overall, she goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care as visitor.

Thank you so much. I love to see guests enjoying this magical place. I’m so happy that you certainly did!! You certainly made a friend of donkey boy Silver if not mutt parrot Boogie!
Linda is a phenomenal hostess and the place is adorable. It is nestled in the woods with lots of opportunities for bird watching. Town was easily accessible but none of the city noise could be heard. The description regarding the beds was a little confusing upon arrival, as it is a king bed upstairs and two sofa beds downstairs.

Thanks for your tip on reminding folks about the sleeper sofas! I’m so glad that the storm didn’t bother your enjoyment! I saw some chipping sparrows the other day. Put out seeds, and they will come!
We loved our stay here! The cottage was the perfect size, the host was super sweet, and the property was beautiful. We loved our weekend getaway and the local towns had everything we needed. If you love animals, you’ll enjoy your time here!

The couple were absolutely wonderful. One of my 20 rescue cats came up to love on them, as did my donkey boy, as they fed the goatie and piggie babies. I can’t even pet the cat, yet he let them love on him!! They are magic❤️
This was the perfect getaway we needed! On top of a wonderful stay, Linda is a gem
This was the perfect stay for my husband and I for our friend’s wedding nearby and I am so happy we stumbled upon Linda’s cozy escape. The place is nestled in the woods not far from the main road near a beautiful pond filled with lily pads. It was so relaxing and Linda couldn’t have been a better host. She provided eggs from her little hens and oj, come on! Too kind. If you get the chance to meet her and donkey boy you will easily understand why.
