Paris, I would like to clarify that I did receive your note on this platform and responded immediately in a similar manner to what is outlined below. I apologize if you missed my response previously. While I regret that the overall experience fell short of expectations, your feedback is appreciated and will help guide improvements moving forward. Your comments regarding the strong Pine-Sol odor and sticky floors were addressed with our cleaning team, and corrective measures were taken. The shower issue was the first time it was brought to our attention, and the cabin owner has since replaced the entire shower mechanism, including all new body jets. The concerns regarding the noisy bed and fan have also been shared with our maintenance team and will be addressed for future guests. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the fireplaces, secluded back patio, hot tub area, and swinging chairs. Additionally, the hot tub jets are all working properly as of today. Regarding the blanket you asked about, the owner confirmed it was purchased at Costco in Dallas. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Hi Zelene, sorry your stay was less than perfect. Wish you would have called us during your stay for assistance . We have our phone number for our guests posted in the cabin. Thank you for the heads up on the creamer. The cleaner must have overlooked it since it seldom need to be replaced. We will definitely change it out. I am sorry to hear your dissatisfaction with the bed. There are so many different types and firmness of mattresses and honestly this is one of the hardest decisions that a cabin owner has to make when setting up their cabin. We understand everyone has different sleep styles and preferences. This cabin has a medium firm, Sealy memory foam mattress and until now, we haven’t gotten any complaints from our guests.

If you read any of the prior reviews regarding this cabin, you will see that we have never had a negative review entailing cleanliness. Please allow me to preface by stating that I have earned a “Premier Host” status by providing my guest with exceptional vacation experiences, great communication, and providing clean cabins. Cleanliness is a priority to Rustic Luxe Cabins and I employ the very best cleaners in the Broken Bow area. All of our cleaners are experienced, and well trained with the latest COVID cleaning and sanitizing protocols. After we clean our cabins, we sanitize TV remotes, faucets, light switches, counter tops and anything that is handled on a regular basis by our guests. After each departure, every hot tub is drained, cleaned, refilled and chlorinated. After each clean, a cleaning inspector visits behind our cleaner using a 25 point inspection to make sure everything is properly cleaned and sanitized prior to our guests arrival. This being said, none of the cleaning outfits in our business are 100% perfect; however, in the event that an item is not working properly, or you are unhappy with anything in one of our cabins, we do have an open communication policy and we have several postings in all of our cabins that feature contact information for house keeping, maintenance and cabin management so we can resolve any challenge that might cause a concern for any of our guests. After looking at our records of your stay, I see that you had a concern about the water in the hot tub and that you reached out for chlorine granules. Broken Bow did have some problems with the water quality during the timeframe in which you visited as they were making adjustments to our water storage facility to accommodate the massive amount of growth for the area. I have on record that we provided you with the information you needed to find the Chlorine granules that we keep in that cabin and offered for one of our cleaners to come out to refill your hot tub. If you had any other concerns about the cleanliness of the cabin, it would have been nice to know what items were not to your standards, so we could have rectified your concerns during the time of your stay. Our customer first policy and our detailed protocol to cleanliness are just a few of the reasons why Rustic Luxe Cabins is one of the best-rated management companies in Broken Bow.

Stacey, over the years, I have earned a “Premier Agent” Status with VRBO and my company enjoys a stellar reputation in the Broken Bow community for fair business practices and customer service. In an effort better serve our cabin owners and our guests, Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow, is in the process of upgrading to a very robust reservation software. Unfortunately, due to a glitch during this implementation, you received an email that led you to believe we were cancelling your reservation. As you are aware, we immediately reached out to you in an effort to clarify the unexpected release of the email you received. You were very cordial and understanding, as I would expect you to be in regards to this unpredictable occurrence. In regard to “ dangerous falling masonry veneers,” There was one veneer brick waist high on the kitchen island that my maintenance person did not have time to put back on the island due to the guest departing only hours before your arrival. You also stated that you noticed where some masonry stone, 10lbs to be exact, had fallen to the ground. Please let me clarify, none of this faux stone weighs 10lbs and no additional veneer fell during your stay. Bohemian Rhapsody is a 5-Star cabin, which backs up to a rock bottom creek featuring acres of empty forest with no neighboring cabins behind this boho chic honeymoon cabin. As you can read in past reviews, noise is not usually a problem around this cabin. The 3 bedroom cabins you are referring to might have housed 20 people total between the two cabins. This being said, Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow currently manages neither of these two cabins. We cannot give refunds or discounts for things out of our control such as noises coming from surrounding cabins. However, had you reported these noise violations to Rustic Luxe Cabins management, we would have gladly contacted the management company responsible for the guest at these cabins and ask them to resolve the situation; furthermore, we have very effective connections with the Sheriffs Department to help with these kind of issues. In regard to your firewood request, we responded promptly and offered you an immediate delivery of firewood and you assured us that we did not have to bring firewood that day as you were only planning to use the wood the following evening. All of our cabins are equipped with cabin books that contain information about each cabin with recommendations of places to eat and activities available to enhance your stay while visiting Broken Bow. In addition to our cabin books, our new software sends out portal invites to all our guests with this same type of information that can be easily obtained through your mobile or computer devices. After speaking with you on the phone after your departure, I did walk this particular cabin and found a cabin book sitting on the coffee table in the living room. Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow takes pride in providing great customer service, and we take all legitimate customer complaints seriously. However, we do not appreciate customers contacting us after their departure with a list of exaggerated claims and occurrences that could have been addressed during the stay and attempting to leverage a bad review in hopes of getting a refund.

Kimberly, Let me preface that I have held a Premier Agent and Super Host status with Vrbo and Airbnb for many years by delivering clean, comfortable stays and exceptional service for our guests. I was very surprised to read your review since we did not hear from you anytime during your stay. If the cleanliness of the cabin was as bad as you say, why didn’t you contact us? We have our housekeeping, maintenance, and management phone numbers in our properties and we are available to our guests throughout their stay. As far as the firewood is concerned, I looked back at your reservation, and you did not purchase firewood for your stay so what you had was left over from the previous guest who left the remaining wood by the uncovered fire pit. Our purchased firewood is always placed under cover when delivered to the cabin.
