Each residence features two bedrooms, two full baths, a combined living, dining, and kitchen area, and a private balcony.

Community amenities include boardwalk access to the heart of St. Simons' sand beaches, a swimming pool, volleyball area, large grass lawn, outdoor grills and complimentary in-room high speed internet service.

Though this community is located directly on the ocean, individual residences, unless otherwise specified, do not offer ocean views.

Great beachfront location. The property definitely needs updating but location is good. The mattress in this unit needs to be replaced and the upholstered furniture is looking a little grimy. Property manager was awesome in helping me resolve a reservation issue. Overall good experience. Decent property for the price. We enjoyed our visit!

ShipWatch is nice; condo so-so

I’ve stayed at ShipWatch several times; the property is lovely and well maintained. The condo is in need of a thorough deep cleaning (e.g. filthy baseboards and corners, etc.) and an update. That being said, I’ll stay at SW again. Hodnett Cooper has excellent communication and prompt responses.

St Simons Shipwatch Review

Great location! Steps from the pool and beach access! Quiet condo complex, secluded on the island. Layout of the condo was great with master bedroom access to the balcony. Kitchen was adequately stocked. The only recommendation we would have is to update the living room furniture. It was all very dated and uncomfortable. The pros far outweigh the cons at this property and we would return.

The location of the condo is perfect for a family vacation. You are a short walk to the beach, right by a pool with a lot of sitting room and a couple of miles from dining areas.

Good but could be better

Loved the location, management company was great, but there are few issues: toilet was stopped up when we got there, sofa felt gummy/dirty, comforter on master bed felt gummy / dirty and there wasn't a broom in the unit. So we spent 4 days with sand on the floor... and we couldn't access trash area without leaving the property, driving around the building down the road and then having to back out on a busy street. Just wasn't very convenient.

While small and with a kitchen that wasn't entirely equipped for how much cooking we needed to do, we thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was very clean, in a fantastic location and served our purpose exactly.

Nice affordable condo very close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is designed for budget friendly folks looking for a place very close to the beach. There were just very minor things wrong with the condo, we didn't even notify the property manager because they weren't a big deal at all. For example a closet door was off its hinges and bedroom TV remote didn't work. Some water in the fridge from a small leak. My family really enjoyed how close we were to the ocean and the kitchen was functional enough for us to have breakfast and lunch there everyday. The only thing I didn't enjoy was how there is no assigned parking, but that is a minor thing also and would not deter us from staying at this property again. We were happy that there were only families staying at the condos around us and no folks partying. A great atmosphere just a few steps from the beach.
