The River Pitch

Your Boardman River relaxing getaway! With 600 ft. of frontage, the home sits on 2+ acres, steps away from the yearlong beauty of the Boardman River. The Boardman River is a 28.2-mile long river that flows into the west arm of the Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City, Michigan that is considered to be one of the top trout streams in Michigan.

The Space:
This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom (along with an open loft) home is located on a secluded and quiet lot with plenty of room for outdoor activities. The property also offers our "Pool Hall" which is equipped with a sauna, pool table, smart TV, a bar, and games! Outside, A nice outdoor grilling area & fire pit, outdoor shower, direct access into the Boardman River, make the yard perfect for gathering. Along with the wrap around porch, you always have a beautiful view of the river.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1- 1 Queen bed
Bedroom 2- 1 Queen bed
Common area- 4 Twin/single beds

There is a steep ladder with hand rail that is required to climb in order for access to loft area. The loft is best suited for children or teens.

*Please note there are exterior cameras for security purposes.

Seated right along the Boardman River! 600 Ft of frontage to enjoy year round.

Other Things to Note:
This home invites you to bring your furry friend on your trip to Northern Michigan! Please know, we collect a $100 pet fee. After you have confirmed your reservation, we ask that you message us to let us know you will be bringing your pet(s), and we will then send the additional charge of $100 over! We do not allow for any more than 2 pets per stay.

The River Pitch is equipped with two outdoor security cameras. One above the front deck and one above the back deck. It is for the safety of our guests and our own peace of mind. If you have any questions or concerns please send them our way!

Great place!

Location is great. Close enough to downtown TC but remote enough to have privacy and enjoy the outside. Would have liked to enjoy another day on just the property as it’s relaxing and peaceful!

Perfect amenities; lovely location

We enjoyed everything about the house and grounds. The Boardman River never disappoints! The beds and furniture were comfortable; the kitchen island was great for cooking prep and for gathering.

River Cottage

Great property for spending time with friends and family along the Boardman River; less than 20 minutes to downtown Traverse City. Plenty of amenities and space to cook, play or relax.

Great property

Every part of process smooth. The property is amazing. The house and decks were great. Everything needed was supplied. Only thing to mention is getting into loft is a bit tricky. You got to be pretty nimble.

Quiet and peaceful setting

Great house overall! Enjoyed our stay. Only downside is that there were 6 canoe/kayaks and only 3 oars.
