Or, you can spend your afternoons splashing in the Gulf of Mexico and cooling off in the complex pool. Everything you need back is inside, including a full kitchen, comfortable sofas, and flatscreen TVs.
This condo is located in the Marlin Arms, a bayfront complex that sits only two blocks from South Padre Island's renowned beach on the Gulf of Mexico. You'll find tons of restaurants, casual eateries, shops, bars, and recreational outfitters within a short stroll or drive. You can also rent bikes or a golf cart for the weekend and stop by Liam's Steak House & Oyster Bar around the corner for a nice sunset dinner.

Room was very clean, plenty of towels and the AC was great to come back to after being out in the sun and Texas Heat. Location is also a big plus close to many attractions and restaurants.
Overall the value was great, and realistically I would give 4 1/2 stars. We would have appreciated the use of the balconies. The accessible balcony (with the view of the bay) shown in the pics didn't have chairs, but the main balcony wasn't accessible and it had chairs that could have been used for the other balcony.Condo has a Keurig machine so it would be nice to have a few pods to start with.

Overall a good stay
Overall the room was comfortable and we had a great stay. The location was great and was within walking distance to tons of local attractions, shops, ice cream and restaurants. The room itself could use some updates/touch up but overall we had a good stay. The on-site laundry on the 2nd floor is over an app, not change which was convenient. The view of the sunset from the pool and yard space and parking lot was 2nd to none. On select nights one of the restaurants next door does fireworks over the water.

Bayside Condo
We lived the pool and we love that the fishing dock is just a few feet from the pool. The kids swam while Dad fished. Also love that there is an elevator and there is a laundry mat on site.

We had a great experience. Condo was spacious clean and very inviting. Staff at Vacasa was excellent. Eric was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way from answering questions and coming to open door.

Be Aware!
I am nit really sure where to start...make sure you get your parking license unless you want your car is towed. Where you can get it? Ask help to God. This place has so many safety hazards to list. Beaten down place. Dont be fooled with the pictures. It is old, outdated and net being kept up. No laundry (there is one but the locals said it has never worked,figured)...will I be back? Never. Try to find somewhere else. For the amount I paid i am disappointed. You can get much better places for $600 a night.

Location is great. Restaurants close by and bay view is amazing. The downfall of our stay was knows in shower were broken. So only cold water in one restroom. Two balconies weren't able to be opened. The pool was green on Friday when we checked in. Next day was a little better but still dirty. Couches should be replaced.

Extraordinary location!!!
My family stays on the Island often. The unit is set up with 3 full baths and is located within walking distance of the bayside bars and restaurants. This is the perfect place to fish off the dock under the green lights, keep your boat and watch the fireworks over the bay from an incredible front row seat.

South Padre
The location was excellent. Walking to all the fun bar, restaurants and music! The condo space was super big, as expected. But it needed to be cleaner! We understand Florida stuff but didn’t care to see a couple cockroaches in cupboards. Two of the 3 balconies were out of order! Unsafe sharp material hung inside the living room from balcony that couldn’t be used. This building needs updated and because of its location and great living space it would be a great place to return to.

It was as described. Bonus they were smart enough to leave a surge protector with extra plugs, they layout was good for privacy for a group. As each bedroom was on the opposite end of each other.
