About this property

Romantic Chalet in the Forest

Our Chalet offers a large loft Bedroom with a queen bed. Beautiful views of the Mogollon Rim from the bed, and of the National Forest to the back. Downstairs bedroom has full bed. In the living room you will find a wonderful wood burning stove. The living room has incredible views from the cathedral like windows. Kitchen has everything except your food. Outdoor deck is very private with tall pine trees providing lovely shade. Our cabin is located at the very back of the lot right up to the National Forest. It is in a very private setting. If you are looking for a cozy couples retreat, we think you've found it! Note, the Century Link Internet out in the forest is spotty at times. Please don't expect it to work well, and after all it's not why we are up there!

Clean, quiet and relaxing. Great getaway from the heat. Loved the location in the woods and view of the surrounding pines and Mogollon Rim. Cabin was well stocked with everything you need. Host Gabriel was excellent with communication as well as perfect directions. Would definitely book again and highly recommended.

The Chalet was beautiful but the best part is being in the woods ! It was quiet and our puppy thoroughly enjoyed all the new smell's !The house had everything needed for a great weekend away. We had a nice fire in the cast iron stove,, we sat outside and gazed at the star's and hiked the Tonto Natural Bridge. I would definitely recommend this cottage!

This is a beautiful cabin in an amazing forest area. Quiet getaway. Close to the Arizona Trail. Our dogs had a blast with all the new smells and our hike on a portion of the highline trail. Great host family. 16 moles from Payson, last few up a graveled dirt road, so expect your car to get dirty. Overall, a great stay for us.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and took the time to answer all of my questions, always getting back to me quickly. He was very accommodating, especially with the current weather situation, which we really appreciated. The house itself was beautiful and in a perfect location for a romantic getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and definitely look forward to staying here again.
