Perfectly located in Cave Creek. Enjoy a world class round of golf and shopping in fashionable North Scottsdale by day , and head out for some cowboy culture, barbecue and two-steppin' in nearby Cave Creek by night.

Or ... begin your day with a sunrise hike in the Black Mountains , and end it under the stars with a glass of wine and some tasty s’mores by your outdoor fire pit.

Santa Barbara Style, 2 bedroom - 2 bath home, with an office. Sits on 1 1/4 acres on a quiet cul-de-sac. Property completely fenced. 10x10 gated/covered dog pen w/dog house.
RV/Boat/Horse Trailer parking and RV electric hookup.
The home has been completely remodeled with custom saltillo tile floors throughout, high-end furnishings, new appliances, and a large covered flagstone patio w/waterfall to add to serenity of the desert.

Wonderful location, only 5 minutes to downtown Carefree/Cave Creek and The Boulders Resort and Spa.

15 minutes to Scottsdale (Waste Management Open, Barrett Jackson Auction and Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show).

For extended stays the cleaning fee includes monthly housekeeping and landscaping service. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
A one time pet fee will be assessed per animal for all stays.


This spacious retreat is equipped with all the amenities you would expect in a luxury home and truly exudes a unique feeling of warmth and tranquility. Lots of natural light , and room to breathe ... a perfect respite or “work from home” sanctuary.

A very special home!

We spent about 2 weeks at this home - 1 week or vacation and 1 remote work. The house is lovely - comfortable, well appointed and the art is amazing! Nice private location that is also really close to golf, dining, shopping, etc. Andthe sunsets from the patio are perfection!

Fantastic Cave Creek Desert Escape

Picture-perfect desert getaway property. Nicely remodeled "Santa Barbara-style" home with large property that makes it feel very private- very nice indoor and outdoor spaces. Beautiful Property Near Cave Creek

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The outdoor seating area was cool and inviting each morning and afternoon. The Master Guest beds were super comfy with nice linens. The office pull-out however, was very cramped and uncomfortable so this is really a 2 bedroom home. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and it's convenience to hiking trails in Cave Creek (<10 minute drive). Lots of restaurants and amenities nearby including the Boulders resort. We would definitely go back!

This is a beautiful Santa Barbara home and a lovely host. We initially booked for 2 weeks and landed up staying close to 3.5. We highly recommend this home- it was beautifully decorated, lots of interesting art, and the perfect home away from home. Our two small dogs loved exploring in the yard, which is massive by the way. There’s a wonderful sitting area under cover where you can listen to the fountain and stare at the stars at night. (We were luck enough to see a rocket take off). Thank you for being a true Super Host!

Perfect stay in Cave Creek

We come to Az every winter to enjoy the warmer temps, golf, hiking and great food. We chose Saundra's beautiful home in Cave Creek as our home base this year, and it didn't disappoint. The home had everything we needed to feel comfortable and right at home. Very well set up for two couples to enjoy time together yet have very separate spaces to go off to for time alone. Very comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of rooms with ample space to watch TV or enjoy calming outdoor time in the serene yard. Cave Creek is a wonderful little town, central to both Scottsdale and Sedona, where there is great golf and hiking all around. Plenty to see and do, and we will surely contact Saundra again to arrange to stay at her beautiful place when we do!

Beautiful and comfortable home

Saundra's home was the perfect place to stay while I did some house hunting in the area. The house is very centrally located and extremely comfortable! I was thrilled that she not only allowed dogs, but that she had space for them to run outside. The dogs loved that, and the comfy dog beds that she left out for them. I was very happy with the amenities. The seating area on the back patio is perfect for morning coffee, especially when the fountain is turned on. It was nice to have access to a desk in the office. I found the bed and pillows to be extremely comfortable, and was happy with the water pressure in the shower. I can be a picky traveler, so I appreciated her attention to detail in all areas. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends. There are so many wonderful restaurants and places to explore in that area, and Saundra was terrific about suggesting places for me. All in all, it was a fabulous experience!

Gorgeous place!

My mom wanted to visit Arizona for her 82nd birthday. We choose this property for the look of the house, property and surroundings. I have to admit, I don’t typically spend this much on a VRBO, since I generally book them for traveling with staff for conferences. I AM SO GLAD I DID! The place was incredible and there were so many things that Saundra did and provided that none of the other places ever have. For instance, one of the perks of a VRBO is that you can create meals in the kitchen instead of eating out. But of course you don’t want to pack your spice cupboard from home... she had everything we could ask for, PLUS! The kitchen is amazing! The house is beautifully decorated as is the outside sitting area. So well done. Being from Michigan, we aren’t familiar with the popular style of different levels of the floor in AZ houses. There was often a step up or a step down when moving from room to room. Just something to be aware of. Loved the outdoor sitting/picnic/fire pit area and used the grill several times and enjoyed being out in the warm sunshine. Beds were soft, linens were great and a variety of different softness’ of pillows. Plenty of room for visiting and simply hanging out. Saundra was so sweet, she even surprised us with a birthday cake for mom upon arrival! We had an awesome time in a beautiful house!

Saundra’s home exceeded our expectations! The location was stunning and within minutes of restaurants and activities in Cave Creek and Scottsdale. Sonoran Desert Elegant Retreat

The whole property was well appointed and gracefully done starting with the large lot and gorgeous Sonoran style landscaping. Even though we were in a neighborhood, it felt like we were in the country. I spent hours on the back patio reading books in the comfy furniture and listening to the waterfall and birds. The house felt very private. The interior of the home was so fun to spend time in, it had all of the luxury amenities you would expect. The part that made it special was the way the owner had decoratively put together each room with unique and interesting furnishings. I felt like I was staying in a house from a home and garden magazine. I am an artist so I hate spending time in places that are not aesthetically pleasing and this home did not disappoint. The only thing to be aware of is the floor hight changes, there is a sunken dinning room with two assess points. We loved the area. We rode our bikes on urban parkway trails that started three blocks away from the home. We mountain biked and hiked in multiple Sonoran preserves and parks all with in 15 to 30 minutes away. The area has great food, art, culture, and golf. Our trip was wonderful. the owner was very friendly, assessable and easy to deal with. We would absolutely stay at this property again. - Wendy and Scott
