This is our second year and we love your cabin! The location is perfect, a quiet lane and short walk to town. Well-appointed and the hot tub is a blessing.
House comfortable & well appointed, Especially enjoyed the hot tub after hiking. Excellent location to access park & local restaurants. Elk bugling nearby a bonus! Would definitely return!
Beautiful cabin and well maintained! Loved the hottub and TV. It really helped us relax during the night and made it an even better experience. The host was very quick to respond and helped out any time I needed it. Definitely recommend this host and cabin! Hopefully will be back in the same spot again!
Only small thing was the neighbor on the backside of the property. She ran and scared off the Elk that was eating dandelions which was very petty.
Great cabin for a family right next to Rocky Mountain National Park
My family, of 6, really enjoyed our time at this cabin. With three bedrooms we had more than enough space for everyone. The staff was friendly, helpful and they even allow you to borrow DVDs and games from them at the office at no extra charge. This cabin had a grill and full kitchen with dishes and utensils and a small grocery store down the street so cooking "at home" was easy. After a full day of hiking it was nice to come back to the hot tub and relax. The cabin is just a mile away from the park so its a very convenient location. We were lucky enough to come back in the middle of the day and see elk roaming around it which was very awe inspiring. If I'm ever back in the area I'd be more than happy to stay in this cabin again.
We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room fir 4 adults and 2 small children. Hot tub was fantastic and location was close to area activities. We cooked all meals and found the kitchen to have everything we needed with the exception of enough eating utensils. Bring your own oil and spices. Stand back when starting the grill.... The grill starter does not work and when we lit it manually using the provided lighter, a small fire ball was created. Luckily no one was injured... Overall a comfortable stay.
We spent 3 nights at Monte Verde and everything was fantastic! It’s hard to find affordable places to stay for a family of 5 that allows everybody to sleep comfortably. Our 11 year old slept in the far bedroom that has access to outdoors (we kept this locked all the time), and our 5 and 8 year olds shared the queen in the second bedroom. The only minor things of note were that the master bathroom toilet was finicky and didn’t always flush. Plunging it didn’t do anything. It seemed to work during the day but not during the evening/night. The living room was a bit dark-not really a big deal except we tried to do a puzzle on the coffee table and it was a strain on the eyes after about 5pm.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was hot and the liner seemed brand new! The kids loved the rocks in the yard to climb on. We saw deer from the windows on 2 mornings, and saw elk just down the hill almost every day. Close and convenient to town, minutes from a park entrance. We would stay here again!
The place was very clean as we walked in, including the outside grounds and the deck. The host contacted us with all the necessary information before we arrived. We couldn’t have been happier.
Great cabin in a beautiful area! Very clean. We enjoyed using the wood fireplace in the living room and the hot tub out back. We had deer, elk, and wild turkeys walk through the yard. Unfortunately we forgot something when we checked out but the rental company was kind and helpful in making sure we were able to get it back!Downsides: you have to walk through bedroom #2 to get to bedroom #3. Also, this place is right on a fairly busy road. Lots of cars went by during the day but it was quiet at night. Overall, this was a nice spot! I would definitely stay here again!
Great location. Great accommodations. Very convenient to get to Estes Park and to Rocky Mountain National Park. Had a minor electrical issue but it was fixed very promptly and efficiently. A beautiful stay in a beautiful spot.
Very clean and in such a convenient location. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub and relaxing deck. The wildlife around the house was so neat to see. We will be back!
Great place. Clean, great location. We used the hot tub which is large enough for 4 people. Kitchen has great extras - coffee, tea and packages of olive oil, salt and pepper. Lots of towels, packets of shampoo, conditioner… overall wonderful experience
This is a nice cabin with all the comforts of home. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. The only issue is the sofa. The futon kept sliding down which makes sitting uncomfortable. It also took 2 people to pull it back in the correct position.
House was perfectly sized for 4 adults, hot tub was great after a day or two of walking around. Location close to town. We saw a lot of turkeys and deer walking through our yard and neighborhood.
We had an absolute blast here. The location to downtown Estes Park was perfect! It was just far enough way to avoid traffic, but close enough to drive into town daily within five minutes. It was only 10 min from the RMNP too.
The only downfall, I will say, was the master bedroom shower basin. It was cracked and the floor beneath was obviously rotten and weak. They did send out a repair man the next day, but with little improvement.
This cabin has three separate bedrooms. One bedroom has shower and bathroom attached. There is aan additional full bath in hall. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable living room with fire burnig fireplace , it was easy to communicate with owners and lots of elk stopped by,
All of us were very happy with our stay. Everything we needed was available. (Most of us flew to Colorado from the East Coast.) We loved that the primary bedroom was separate from the the other two bedrooms, and that it had an exit to the wonderful patio and hot tub. In the yard we saw mule deer, elk, hummingbirds, a prairie dog, magpies, and even swallows made their nest in the eaves of the house. Wonderful!
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice neighbors near by. Our favorite part of the stay was the deer and elk viewing right outside of our doors. The only negative thing was it was right next to a busy road, so traffic noise was a little annoying when windows were open. We would stay their again and would recommend to others.
Very nice cabin right in Estes Park area, had a wonderful time with family. Would book again.
Thank you
Brian D.
