Amazing Location and a lovely property. We stayed for 14 nights with 5 people. We found everything that we could need within the property. The property was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen and a full size fridge freezer which was very much needed during the heatwave as was the aircon!We all enjoyed the pool and the grounds. Location wise the property is well located to allow for day trips to the Camargue, Avignon etc.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return as we have so much more to explore in that area.My only suggestion would be some plastic glasses/cups to allow drinks by the pool.

Perfect

We had a fabulous holiday at La Bergerie it was everything we hoped for. Peaceful, set amongst vineyards above the small village of Suzette away from the hustle of everyday life. The views from every window at the property captured a different view of the landscape, we felt like we were in a painting or on a film set, words cannot adequately describe! We enjoyed walking, touring the region and sampling the wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables from the markets and of course the wines of the region. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful house with magnificent mountainviews

We had the pleasure to spent one week of our French holidays in Anne-Marie’s wonderful house in July 2022. The house has everything you need for a perfect family holiday if you like to work in the kitchen as we do. The views are fantastic on Mont Ventoux on one side and Les Dentelles on the other side of the house. The location is in the middle of wineyards with domains as your next neighbours. If you are a cyclist this is a dream coming true. We used our holidays at ‘La Bergerie’ for: - day trip to Pont du Gard and Uzes (highly recomended) - day trip to Avignon - half day trips to Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, Vaison la Romaine ‘La Bergerie’ is highly recomended if you are a Vaucluse or Provence fan as we are. Anne-Marie is a very friendly and helpful host. However, there is a bit of a drive if you like fresh croissants in the morning. The nearest villages are Malaucene and Beaumes de Venise (20 minutes each way). Suzette is a tiny village with a few wine caves and restaurants.

Ein wunderbarer Ort der Ruhe und Erholung

Auch in diesem Jahr haben wir wieder drei wunderbare Wochen in der Bergerie verbracht. Die grosse Hitze konnten wir im klimatisierten Haus und mit dem erholsamen Pool gut aushalten; der Sitzplatz im Osten des Hauses liegt zudem am Nachmittag angenehm im Schatten. Mückenschutz sollte man allerdings unbedingt dabei haben…. Von der tollen Lage des Hauses auf einem grossen, uneinsehbaren Grundstück oberhalb von Suzette und dem weiten Blick in die Landschaft sind wir nach wie vor begeistert. Man kann endlos sitzen, schauen und geniessen, aber auch direkt vom Haus in alle Richtungen loslaufen, so beispielsweise um oder über den Mont St. Amant direkt hinter dem Haus oder zu den Dentelles des Montmirail. Schön ist auch, dass das Restaurant „Les Miracles“ in Suzette, nun mit besseren Öffnungszeiten, freundlichem Personal und guter Speisekarte, neu eröffnet hat. Der Kontakt mit der Besitzerin Anne Marie sowie Sylvie vor Ort war überaus angenehm und freundlich. Wir haben das Haus für 2026 wieder gebucht.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Die Lage des Hauses oberhalb von Suzette ist einmalig - es bietet sich ein weiter Blick vom Mont Ventoux bis zu den Dentelles. Das Grundstück ist groß und uneinsehbar. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und war sehr sauber; große Fenster öffnen den Wohnraum nach drei Seiten. Wir haben die totale Ruhe und die drei Wochen dort sehr genossen. Wanderungen sind bequem vom Haus aus möglich. Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern und der Verwalterin war unkompliziert.

Un endroit merveilleux

Une vue magnifique entre Dentelles et Ventoux, des promenades à pied dans les vignes et les oliviers, une maison très confortable et un accueil très aimable. Et quel plaisir après l'effort, d'être contemplatif au bord de la piscine. Seul petit, tout petit point négatif, les moustiques, contre lesquels il faut être prémuni.

Wunderbar erholsame Ferien

Das Ferienhaus, war für unseren Aufenthalt einfach fantastisch. Es gibt viele positive Dinge zu erwähnen, angefangen bei der Unterkunft selbst bis hin zum Platzangebot, dem Pool und der atemberaubenden Aussicht. Das Ferienhaus war geräumig und komfortabel eingerichtet, sodass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gemütlich, und die Einrichtung hatte einen charmanten rustikalen Stil, der perfekt zur Umgebung passte. Der Platz rund um das Ferienhaus war großzügig bemessen und bot viel Raum für Aktivitäten im Freien. Der Pool war eine tolle Erfrischung und es war bei der sommerlichen Hitze einfach herrlich. Wir verbrachten viele Stunden dort, um uns abzukühlen und zu entspannen. Was uns jedoch auch sehr beeindruckte, war die unglaubliche Aussicht, wir konnten die atemberaubende Landschaft genießen und die Hügel und das faszinierende Panorama luden förmlich dazu ein, das Rennrad zu besteigen und die Gegend zu erkunden. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt des Ferienhauses war die Privatsphäre und Uneinsehbarkeit des Grundstücks. Wir konnten uns vollkommen entspannen und die Ruhe und Stille der Umgebung genießen. Es war wirklich ein Ort, an dem man die Seele baumeln lassen konnte. Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus hat der ganzen Familie hervorragend gefallen.

Wunderschön

Das Ferienhaus liegt traumhaft schön an einem Berg, mit schönem Garten und einer wunderbaren Aussicht. Vor allem für Naturliebhaber ein Paradies. Wir waren 2 Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir sind immer gerne nach unseren Ausflügen ins schöne Haus mit dem Pool zurückgekommen. Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Traumblick und Ruhe

Wunderbar gelegenes Haus oberhalb von Suzette, mit einer Traumaussicht vom Mont Ventoux bis zu den Dentelles de Montmirail. Wir hatten Gelegenheit, wunderschöne Mond- und Sonnenauf- und untergänge zu beobachten. Sehr ruhig (nur gelegentlich ein paar Traktoren zu hören, weil gerade Weinernte war), dafür etwas weiterer Weg zum Einkaufen (7 km und einige Höhenmeter) und viele Insekten. Das Haus ist hübsch und praktisch eingerichtet (wir haben gerne täglich gekocht), Pool ist top mit schönem Holzdeck. Perfekt für ca. 4 Personen (da nur 1 Bad und 1 Toilette). Die Gegend eignet sich sehr gut zum Fahrradfahren, wenn man Höhenmeter nicht scheut bzw. elektrische Unterstützung hat. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns gut erholt.

Spektakuläre Sicht

Einsam gelegen mit atemberaubender Sicht bis zum Mont Ventoux ist la Bergerie der perfekte Ort, wenn man Ruhe sucht und die Natur bewundern will. Gepflegte und moderne Ausstattung, toller Pool und im Haus eine Klimaanlage für die ganz heißen Tage. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Epoustouflant

Cette ancienne bergerie, installée sur un site grandiose (vue à 180° sur le Mont Ventoux et les Dentelles de Montmirail), a été rénovée avec énormément de goût et est très fonctionnelle. Tout est de qualité ( literie, appareils ménagers, mobilier intérieur et de jardin etc.). C'est un lieu véritablement magique que l'on ne peut pas oublier.
