Great place to unhook and unwind! Beautiful lodge type home with lots of space and room with lots to explore nearby. In a day and age where almost every stay has a tv in every room, what I appreciated most about this property was that there was a tv only in the downstairs entertainment area. With this being the case, so much more time was spent really enjoying conversation, the awesome deck area, and the nature at your fingertips without any distraction of a tv simply being on in the background. As I spent so much time playing games out on the deck with my kids and family, this was something I noticed and gave me much needed perspective on. And this was truly made easier by the property itself and its layout. You won’t regret spending time with your kids and family here!

This is our third year at the house and our group loves it. Very spacious and has everything you need for preparing meals or enjoying a camp fire. Our group of five had plenty of room to relax inside by the fireplace when it rained, the beds were comfortable, and the place was very clean. The owner was very responsive to any questions and access to the house was simple. I highly recommend the house.

The house was amazing. Again. We've stayed here for fishing trips over the past several years and it's ALWAYS the perfect spot! Henry is THE BEST host, hands down. We will be back next year!!!

Beautiful peopeety

Had a very nice stay at this home in Altmar. The home was just right for the size of our family - all in town for a wedding. The property is the best part - a short walk back through the woods to the beautiful Salmon River was one of the highlights for sure!

My group of 7 have been fishing on the Salmon River for 26 years now and this property was by far the best place we have stayed. Right behind the property are a couple of nice pools to fish. The house itself is modern and had plenty of room for our group. The house needs a tv on the main level and a gas grill would be an improvement.
