What a beautiful view from the large patio/pool area. The swimming pool and ping pong table were great amenitities.

It was simple to check in. The communication before the visit could’ve been better as I’ve tried contacting the host couple of times but it got solved in the end. The house is big and in a quiet area, with easy access to shops and metro stations. Overall was ok for the price paid.

Good choice for a group wih children

Nice, spacious house and terrace with pool, quiet neighbourhood, 10 min walk from the Metro. The house a bit on the old-fashioned side, could do with some upgrading of the electricity system in the bedrooms. Gas stove and dishwasher OK, not a lot of equipment to set the table for 9 persons... Very good beds, clean and tidy rooms. Owner very nice and helpful! Surely a good choice for a big group with children.

Hygiène innacceptable, mauvaises odeurs, état vetuste de l ensemble de la villa, tranquillité perturbée par des déménageurs intervenants dans les sous sols de la villa. Les photos de l'annonce sont trompeuses sur la réalité de l état de la villa. Pas de présentations de toute la villa et on comprends pourquoi. Il y a des différences entre style ancien et vétusté. Dommage car la villa aurait un beau potentielle ...

Great location for an older house!

Pros: -The price was right -The location was fantastic in a quiet neighborhood north of the city center 5 minutes from the Penitents Metro stop -Huge house with beds for 16 -Great wifi and AC -Plenty of parking on site and on the street Cons: -The house is old and badly in need of some updates -Towels and sheets have definitely been used a lot -The kitchen is small, with limited supplies, and not very user friendly. We had to light the stove and oven each time we wanted to use it. It made it hard for more than two people to cook at once. -Limited supplies of most everything from plates and glasses to pillows and towels -On our first day in the house one of the upstairs showers did not have much pressure. I tried to pull the plug to increase the pressure and it came out. I put it back but that shower was a problem for the whole week. I failed to mention it to our hosts because I lost my mobile phone and therefore his number, and as a result we were charged 60 euros to fix it. It was not a lot of money but it bothered me. I should have let them know as soon as it happened. Live and learn. -The pool was a nice feature but the water level was low and it has many cracks and holes at the top. It looks like it was leaking water from, the top so they lowered the water level down to stop the leaks rather than fix them. Overall: We enjoyed our stay, I just wish they would reinvest some money they earn from rentals to upgrade the house. It was good but it could be incredible.

Awesome house for a long weekend

This house was perfect for a long weekend with the family, the hosts were very nice and helpful! Having the swimming pool all for ourselves was a huge plus. The house is in Barcelona city in a residencial area but only 5 stops from downtown with the metro. I highly recommend it, and will come back for sure!
