Senior Bonding Week
7 “old guys” have been going to UP at the end of January for the past 30+ years. This house is by far the best place we have stayed.

Visit to Western UP
very clean, well situated property. Total of 6 stayed at the property (family of 4 + in-laws) and everyone had plenty of space for bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen space and utensils were very useful for night time dinners and cooking. Location was near downtown Ironwood which made for easy walking and sightseeing. Loved walking to Rigoni's bakery for what we considered the best home made pasties and baked goods in the area. Great location to see all of the Western UP sites (Black River area, Copper Peak, Houghton, Copper Harbor, Apostle Islands, Porcupine Mountains, etc). We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean and a great space. The rooms are large and great for younger kids and the whole family. Close to many great sights. We really had a good time.

Loved this place!
Stayed 3 nights for a weekend family reunion in area. The place was beautifully updated, spacious, comfortable, and had every amenity you could ever need. The beds, sheets, pillows were comfy, plenty of hot water, air conditioning units worked fine during the warm days. The dining room could easily seat a dozen people (altho we didn't have that many). The property was very close to downtown to be near restaurants, the brewery, and other businesses. Instructions on what needed to be done while in residence or upon leaving were clear. The front porch was a great place for a morning cup of coffee.

Historic Home That's Centrally Located
It was a beautiful home with spacious rooms and an abundance of beds. There is easy parking and additional spaces two doors down for added vehicles. We had six adults and everyone, except Mom & Dad, had their own room. Multiple beds in each bedroom meant that we could have had 4-5 more guests comfortably. Ample table seating, servingwear, utensils, mugs, cookware, and refrigerator space for a large get together. There are so many family events like hiking trails, boating, shops, mine tours, and parks to visit in the area. What a dream rental.

We are a busy family of 5 with 3 boys who love the outdoors. We bought this home as a place to be with each other, doing the things we love. We live in the Twin Cities so back home the trail system isn’t that great! The snowmobile and ATV trail entrance here is 3 blocks away and accessible straight from the home. We come up to the area all year long for these trails. For skiing or snowboarding, Powderhorn, Indianhead and Blackjack are all about 10 minutes away. We love a good breakfast and the Uptown Diner is 1 block away!

Why they chose this property

This property is cute enough to suit a girls weekend but masculine enough not to scare the boys away. Every room in the house has its own theme that fits why you are vacationing here in the first place. You’ll be coming for the outdoors but won’t want to leave the coziness of the inside!

What makes this property unique

2 of the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. There is a long driveway for the house and an additional driveway and garage on another lot. This is important in the winter because you can not park on the city streets.
