Villa 381 Morgan Building1175 Beachview Dr. This is a beautiful 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath Villa located in the oceanfront Villas by the Sea resort. Walk among the oaks or take a short stroll to Driftwood beach. Children can enjoy the Pirate Ship playground and for the adults there is a fitness room. When you need to cool off there is a pool for the adults and one for the kiddies. The resort offer a full restaurant and lounge.
When you enter our villa you will find an open plan living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a sliding door that leads to a patio area. Listen to the waves or feel the warm Atlantic breeze. The living room has a media cabinet with a flat screen TV and a DVD player. This level also has a half bath for your convenience. When you go up to the second level you will find a large master bedroom with a queen size bed, plenty of storage for clothes in drawers and the closet. There is also a flat screen TV. This room features sliding doors leading to a small balcony with seating and great views of the ocean. A great place to start the day or wind down from a day at the beach. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds for the kids or extra guests. We hope you enjoy visiting our Villa as much as we do. THIS UNIT IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry facilities accessible with your key-cards. Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Villas By The Sea Boardwalk***Beach Access May Not Be Available At High Tide*** During high tide, please enjoy the oceanfront boardwalk OR swimming pool at VBTS or use one of the public beach access parks south of the Holiday Inn. NOTE: Rental guests are not allowed to have pets in the cottage at any time. This doesn’t imply that the rental is a completely pet-free property. If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged to the card on file AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

Our Stay

It was great…the instructions for what to do with linens & keys was not real clear. May have been easier if it the instructions for checking in/out were listed clearly and taped up on the fridge. That was minor, we figured everything out & it was a great place to stay.

Family Vacation

We loved the beauty of the area. The pool and beach access was great. Our condominium was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare and serve food. Additionally our upstairs balcony had a great ocean and sunrise view.

A great location on historic Jekyll Island

The property is in an awesome location! Best part was we didn't have to do any kind of check-in or stop to get keys, they were underneath the mat when we arrived. You do have to drop off your keys at the office near the convention center when you check out fyi. The pool is not heated and it's very shaded so it was very chilly water! The closest laundry room is two buildings over, the machines are quarters only. There is no change machine, you have to get rolls of quarters from the front desk. It is $2 a load to wash and $1.50 a load to dry. They did work well. The property unit could use a little sprucing up & a deep clean. I did mention this to the property managers. I had read someone else's review about wearing their socks around indoors and that was a great suggestion & I'm glad I brought slippers! There is construction ongoing in certain locations on the property but not near this unit btw. Overall a positive experience!

Not clean

This rental was not clean at all. Appears it had not been rented for sometime, because there were multiple spiderwebs that we found, bugs, the floor was absolutely disgusting so dusty and you couldn’t walk barefoot without your feet being gray. Linens were stained, the shower curtain itself was gross there was mold in the bathroom. The property management company here appears to not care very much about this property.
