Large, fabulously appointed multi-million dollar home in the private, gated North Bethany community of The Preserve. The Preserve is the most sought-after community in North Bethany and is the only community east of the highway that has its own pool and tennis court. The private beach is large, expansive and never crowded. The house was recently gutted and renovated with wood floors throughout, Subzero appliances, granite, 7 bathrooms, 4 king masters with their own bathrooms, and no expense was spared. The house is truly a Showcase Home. The home is 25 yards from your own private beach with lifeguards. The house is an easy walk/jog or bike-ride into the town of Bethany (about 1.5 miles). The house has plenty of parking so you will never have to hunt for a parking spot. The pool is large, has a roped off area for kids, an adult swim area and a lifeguard. The house also has 2 desks and chairs for folks that want to work while at the beach.

The house features great ocean views.. The house has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There are 6 expansive decks and a spacious 'tower room/den' as a special get-away area for the kids or adults. The house sleeps 17/18 with 4 rooms with kings; one room with 2 twins; a room with 4 bunk beds and a queen; and a queen sleeper sofa on the 3rd floor. The house features wi-fi and 6 TVs . The house is 3 houses from the beach (a short 1 minute walk). The house is east of Route 1 and you walk directly to the beach and there is no need to cross the highway. The house is ideal for large family gatherings or multiple families vacationing together.

There are 4 king master bedrooms with their own private baths. One room on the first floor is connected to a hallway bathroom. This twin room can be turned into a master bedroom by locking the bathroom hallway door. Therefore, there can be a total of up to 5 master bedrooms. Every living area and bedroom has an adjoining deck and the house has many get-away spaces. The house is only 20 yards from the pool so walking to the pool or tennis court with little ones is easy (a one minute walk).

The house fit our needs perfectly! We had gathered for a family Thanksgiving and an early celebration of my 70th birthday! Everyone had their own room and bathroom, which was a major plus, the beach was just steps away from the house, and we got to relive some great family memories from when we vacation at Bethany Beach when my children were little. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were really comfortable, and we even got to enjoy the outside deck as we had a 70 day in late, November! I would highly recommend this home for anyone who’s looking for a great location to explore all that is the Delmarva Peninsula.

Thanks for the nice words. The house has just been completely gutted and we have started the renovation of the entire house. We are adding another 2 bathrooms (for a total of 6.5 baths), there will now be 4 masters (with a 5th master if a hallway door is locked), sleeping will be increased to about 18 , and the kitchen and great rooms will be enlarged. There will be granite and quartz for all cabinet tops, Sub-zero and Wolf appliances, wood floors throughout and all new furniture. It will be like a new house and we promise it will be a showcase property.

This house suited our group of 14 extremely well, the rooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable. The living areas accommodated us without crowding. We took advantage of all the decks too! Super easy to get to the uncrowded beach as well. Vic, the owner was extremely responsive and even got us a new gas grill when we relayed that the current one was unusable. We would like to go back next year!

Dream Getaway to Bethany Beach

We were looking for a last minute getaway for a few days during spring break and were traveling with four families. This property was amazing! We never felt crowded and the proximity to the beach was excellent. It was not perfect beach weather (still a little chilly in April), but we still had a wonderful time checking out Bethany Beach & Rehoboth. Renting the linens was painless and seems like it is standard for beach properties in the area. The owner was responsive and helpful and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful, comfortable house in great location

Our Family loves Bethany Beach and very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is full of nice, comfortable furnishing. The kitchen has all you need and the location can't be beat. We met some very nice neighbors and having the community pool as an option was great for some of our family.

The pool and tennis court are only about 50 yards from the house, while the beach is also only about 50 yards from the beach. The house location cannot be beat!

Beautiful House

Myself and six of my college friends (and spouses) from the class of 1972 all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is in a very quiet and convenient location. Beautiful Bethany Beach location

Location of this property is excellent! We were able to hang out in Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, and Ocean City. The pictures do not do this home the justice it deserves. Access to the private beach was great and we had wonderful weather. You will definitely need Wi-Fi booster. Vic was readily accessible and extremely kind. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property.

The perfect beach getaway

Vic’s house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Just steps away from a beautiful, clean, and private beach- watching the sunrise every morning was easy and our favorite part. His house was remodeled, beautifully designed and decorated. We had more than enough room to spare even with our 3 families and especially appreciated the huge dining table, all the king size beds and private bathrooms. Stunning property & location

The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The recent renovation was top notch with so much attention to detail. The upstairs living area was very spacious and provided our party with many places to spread out. Bedrooms were comfortable with high quality furnishings and mattresses. I could go on and on. We did not want to leave! Vic was helpful and informative throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property.

Pictures don’t even do this house justice

This was the most beautiful vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. Not only was it the perfect location (only a half a block from the beach) with beautiful views and upscale luxury property, but Vic made a point to mail us the keys with a list of restaurant and activity recommendations, leaving me with very little research to do for our family! It was like having a surprise travel agent with our trip. Check in was seamless and Vic was very flexible when we arrived early not knowing how traffic would be with our little ones. Highly recommend!

Newly renovated house - great location

Loved the location of the house. Easy access to the beach, pool and tennis court. We thoroughly enjoyed all the facilities. One downside is that the wifi was ineffective. Apparently their internet provider had some issues. If you plan on working at the house plan accordingly. Also if you have older family members, there are a lot of stairs so be forewarned. It is an upside down house. We will hopefully be back.

We are currently working with Mediacom to fix the connectivity issues and they assure us that "all will be better soon". If we had known about the wi-fi issues, we would have contacted the provider sooner so let us know about any issues you may have and they will be addressed IMMEDIATELY! And yes, one of the trade-offs to a large house with many living areas, decks, bathrooms and masters, is that there are a lot of steps. Personally, we think they are worth it, but be fore-warned.

We love this place!

This home is beautiful and offers easy access to the beach - literally steps away. Our family (11 of us, from 75 years to 4 years) switched it up this Thanksgiving and headed to the beach for a nice long weekend. The house was spacious and offered every amenity we needed. An immaculate kitchen with high-end appliances, comfy couches, and great bedrooms and baths. Totally as advertised. Our only complaint was that we had to leave, for real! I mean, yeah Wi-Fi near the beach is spotty but we had enough hotspots to do what we needed. We couldn’t have had a better time.

Unfortunately, wi-fi is an on-going issue at the beach (not just our house) and we have had the internet provider out to the house on many occasions to make service better. We did add a a box to strengthen the wi-fi signal, but this did not help as much as we would have liked. This is why we do mention in the "house information" that folks need to be prepared to use hotspots if wi-fi gets spotty. .

This was a fantastic, well appointed house. Everyone thought it was gorgeous. Loved the proximity to beach, gated community and quiet neighborhood. As the groom's parents, the house was large enough to entertain our out of town guests in a familial and relaxed setting. Plenty of household items stocked & available. Great kitchen with cookware. We were able to host brunch & cocktail receptions. Wish we had known at booking: 4 stories, with the 3rd floor as the main level. We had an elderly mother who strugged with climbing to the 3rd floor daily. Although we found out about the lack of linen service at time of booking, we did have time pre-arrival to arrange the service, just an unexpected expense (& a 3rd party - we used Gale Force- highly recommend). It was also difficult to get check out chores by 10 am given the linen issue & size of house. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend. The host was available throughout for a couple of panic sessions that i had (stress of wedding planning, not really ussues at all). Thank you Victor for responding quickly & professionally!

Laurie, thanks for the kind words. Yes, the house is large with a lot of steps and we selected an "inverted " plan with the living areas on the second elevated level so that we could optimize the great ocean views. We like almost all the rental homes in Bethany do not supply the linens, so you will have to bring your own or rent them. Renting is easy because the rental companies will drop them off and pick them up at the house. Also, we are happy to allow late check outs if there are no guests coming in the day of your departure (for no additional cost). We would have happily done this for you, if you had made this request. Unfortunately, the house is normally booked straight thru during the summer, so we generally cannot do this during the summer, but we are often able to do this during the off-season.

Great vacation

The house was perfect for our family and very clean! The kitchen is well equipped. Everything you could possibly need. The location is fantastic as it’s 2 houses to the beach and 2 houses to the pool. We had little ones so we split our time between beach and pool with ease.

Our family lives in the Washington, DC area and my wife and I met at the beach. We love the beach and try to get here as often as we can. We have a son and daughter and a Golden Retriever that my wife named Dewey, after Dewey Beach, where we shared beach houses with friends when we first got out of school.

Why they chose this property

We used to rent houses in the Outer Banks for many years and designed our beach home incorporating our favorite aspects of these houses. We would probably still be going to the Outer Banks, if we had not discovered North Bethany. North Bethany has large homes on piles, with large lots and private beaches, very similar to the Outer Banks, but about 3 hours closer and with many more amenities. We designed the house so that it would comfortably fit multiple families/groups, with many get-away areas for both the kids and adults. We also wanted a large, inviting great room area as well as a house with multiple master suites so that all could have privacy when they wanted it.

What makes this property unique

If you like to have privacy on the beach, where your closest neighbor is 20 feet away (even in July and August), the Preserve is for you. Bethany Beach is a short 1.5 miles from the house and you can bike or jog there if you like. The house is a short walk to the pool, tennis court or the beach. You will never need to hunt for a parking space when you want to go to the beach. There are many, many restaurants, outlet stores, movie theaters, game parks, golf courses, etc. close to the house. Splurge and treat yourself to a wonderful house and beach community.
