What a wonderful home to host my family and friends for my sisters celebration of life. A great location for anything near the Broadmoor. We had so much room to gather and share time together. Our host was extremely responsive. We will definitely book again.
Excellent location for outdoor activities and with lots of separate spaces for a large group to hang out in. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and garage fridge for drinks was grwat
We had 4 kids, 3 under 2. Yard was a life saver, jungle gym, hot tub, outdoor seating area and deer sleeping in yard !! Bedrooms enough for all and plenty of towels inside and out. Great coffee bar and able to cook a few meals with kitchen goods, and nice to have many spices, really anything we needed this house had.
Nice, but rather old. A/C section split was less than great, 6 bedrooms on one section, only 1 on the other. The electric sockets were worn out, plugs would not stay plugged in. Good location, enjoyed our stay, but felt the property was somewhat overpriced.

I'm so sorry you thought the property was rather old and somewhat over priced . I totally renovated the house in 2019 and installed new outlets along with everything else , this is the first time I had anyone complain about the outlets.
I have two A/C units that have always provided sufficient cooling again this is the first time I have had anyone complain about the A/C cooling.
I do not understand what you are referring to when you say "6 bedrooms on one section" ? there are three bedrooms upstairs and four bedrooms downstairs for a total of 7 bed rooms ?
If you were not totally satisfied I wish you would have made me aware of any issues you had during your stay as I could have an opportunity to rectify the situation, next time you are having issues please give the host an opportunity to rectify the situation during your stay and prior to leaving a negative review.
We had a midyear sales meeting and were able to accommodate the team at this wonderful location home. It 100% met our needs - great home and great location!
The house was absolutely as advertised and the bungalow helped with our large group. There was plenty of space to spread out and the backyard area with hot tub was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this home for any groups in Colorado Springs.
This property served us well for our annual leadership offsite meeting. We had a group of 9 people and everyone had their own bed (one of them slept on one of the futons). We loved being close to the Broadmoor.
Had a great and relaxing weekend at this beautiful home. The house was spacious and inviting. Steve was a great host and very responsive. Would definitely recommend!
This property was perfect for our large family group! The enormous table that seated twelve was great for cards, games, and mealtime! The house had essentially two living spaces which made it great for people who were doing different activities - ping pong, puzzles, football, fire pit, and hot tub. Two refrigerator / freezers were greatly needed and used. Beautiful views were an added bonus.
We loved our trip, the house and location was perfect! The house was beautiful! It was everything we hoped for! The host was very attentive and just overall great. Went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, provided more than any other place has. Most definely recommend! Overall 5 starts

About the host

Me and my wife Mary love where we live. Colorado and the Pikes Peak region has so much to offer. Our passion for the outdoors is one of the reasons we love Colorado so much! One of our favorite things to do is run/hike , and what better place to be! We are both Pikes Peak Ascent and Pikes Peak Marathon finishers. In the last few years we completed our fist ultra marathons, the 30 and 50 mile distances. We also love to climb the Manitou Incline, a popular hiking trail rising above Manitou Springs. The trail is the remains of a former railway whose tracks washed out during a rock slide. The railroad ties remained, and the 2000+ stairs gain over 2000 feet of elevation gain in less than one mile. We also love to camp and ski. Colorado offers some of the best skiing in the country. I have lived here since 2004 and Mary has lived here since 1997. We are very family oriented. We cherish time with our adult kids, three grandkids, and Jack Russell Terrier. We have made many years of wonderful memories in our home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
Why they chose this property
Our property is located near Cheyenne Mountain at the bottom of Pikes Peak, in an established neighborhood, which we love. The area is older, which makes it quieter, and there seems to be a more laid back feel than busier parts of town. We are located close to the mountains, which means short drive to hiking trails, some are even within walking distance. I have lived in this part of town since I moved here in 2004. When Mary and I met, she lived on the other side of town. She just feel in love with this area, so that was what made us decide to stay in this area and buy this home when we combined our families.
What makes this property unique
The home offers beautiful mountain views, spectacular sunrises, and city lights. The home is conveniently located. It is close to tourist attractions, recreation, hiking/biking trails. Just minutes from downtown, restaurants, shopping, and breweries. The large circular driveway offers plenty of parking for large groups, you can park your RV and or boats with ease. There is an extension cord provided to plug in your RV and or camper ! The outdoor living spaces are perfect for entertaining and there is a large privacy fence that surrounds the huge landscaped backyard that is very kid friendly.
