Welcome to Stream Retreat, a peaceful Manitou Springs hideaway where architecture and nature meet. Nestled among cottonwoods and granite boulders, the home sits above a gentle year-round stream whose calming sound drifts through the trees and into the living spaces. Enjoy the peaceful rhythm of flowing water from the decks, the outdoor dining area, or even from inside through three-story windows that fill the home with light and forest views.
✶ The Home ✶ Designed for both relaxation and togetherness, this modern four-bedroom, three-bath home blends clean lines with warm mountain character. You’ll stay comfortable year-round with central heat and A/C, plus a supplemental window unit in the upper master suite for warmer days. Three electric fireplaces—in the living room, game room, and master suite—add cozy, instant warmth at the touch of a button.
Stay connected with fast Wi-Fi, unwind with the Google Nest Audio speaker, and enjoy thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee, tea, snacks, and laundry pods for your stay.
✶ Bedrooms & Bathrooms ✶ Upstairs, the lofted master suite offers a king-size bed, private rooftop deck with chaise loungers, fireplace, and walk-in closet. Its spa-style ensuite bath features a European soaking tub, rainfall shower, and dual sinks surrounded by modern concrete and natural finishes.
A second upstairs bedroom and two main-level bedrooms each feature queen beds with pillow-top mattresses, soft linens, and a soothing, minimalist design. The upstairs bath offers a vessel sink and soaking tub, while the main-level bath glows with a custom concrete sink lit by twinkling fiber-optic “starlights.”
Families will appreciate a pack ’n play, foldable high chair, baby corral, and child-safe outlet covers. A fresh set of linens for the pack ’n play is provided, sealed and ready for use.
✶ Living & Lounge Areas ✶ The main living room is the centerpiece of the home—three-story windows open to treetop views and the sound of the stream below. Gather on plush leather seating, stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV, or relax by the glow of the electric fireplace. The open layout connects seamlessly to the kitchen and dining areas, keeping everyone close while still leaving room to breathe.
Downstairs, the walkout game room offers a foosball table, second TV lounge, and another fireplace. Shelves are stocked with board games, books, and colorful toys for children, creating a relaxed, family-friendly hangout space with direct access to the backyard.
✶ Kitchen & Dining ✶ The fully equipped kitchen combines stainless-steel counters and appliances with a commercial-style layout perfect for cooking together. You’ll find everything you need: a glass cooktop, oven, French-door refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, waffle maker, coffee grinder, French press, Chemex, and milk frother. Children’s plates, bowls, and utensils are included, and a stepstool helps little helpers join the fun.
Enjoy meals indoors at the dining table for eight, surrounded by large windows and views of the trees. Step through the sliding glass door to the outdoor dining deck, furnished with a table and chairs for al fresco meals beside the stream. Just off the kitchen, a back patio with a propane grill makes cookouts simple and convenient.
✶ Outdoor Spaces ✶ This home’s true charm lies in its connection to the outdoors. From the dining deck, the creekside terrace, or the master suite balcony, you’ll hear the soft rush of the stream and feel immersed in nature. Adirondack chairs, a seasonal hammock, and shaded trees make it easy to unwind and take in the surroundings.
Please note that the creek is a natural feature—children under 12 must be supervised at all times near the water. The opposite bank is private property, and rocks can be slick after rain or snow.

We strive to make the home comfortable and practical for parents while keeping the space relaxed and enjoyable for kids.
✶ Laundry & Parking ✶ The lower-level laundry room includes a washer and two dryers for guest use. Parking is available in the driveway, and guests may also use the two-car garage (best suited for smaller vehicles due to lower clearance).
✶ Nearby Attractions ✶ You’re minutes from Downtown Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, and Garden of the Gods, with hiking and biking trails at Red Rocks Open Space just down the road. Walk five minutes to Crystal Park Cantina for great local dining, explore Manitou’s historic mineral springs and galleries, or visit nearby attractions like Cave of the Winds, Pikes Peak Highway, and the Cog Railway.
✶ Guest Access ✶ Guests have full, private access to the entire home and all outdoor spaces, including:
All indoor areas — living room, kitchen, dining spaces, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and the downstairs game room
Outdoor living areas — front entry, upper rooftop deck, outdoor dining deck, and creekside patio with Adirondack chairs and seasonal hammock
Laundry room with washer, two dryers, and detergent pods provided
Parking — driveway and garage (garage best suited for smaller vehicles due to lower clearance)
Guests will also have access to the grounds immediately surrounding the home, which include shaded trees, natural rock features, and a year-round stream. Please note that guests may not cross the stream or climb rocks on either side of it—the opposite bank is private property belonging to a neighbor.
A few small areas are reserved for owner and maintenance use only, including locked cabinets in the laundry room and garage. These are clearly marked and not accessible to guests.
Other things to note ✶ Respect for the Neighborhood: This home is part of a peaceful Manitou Springs neighborhood tucked along the stream. Sound carries easily through the valley, so please keep voices and music low, especially outdoors or on the decks after 7 PM. We use discreet, Airbnb-approved noise sensors that monitor decibel levels only (no audio recording) to help maintain good relationships with neighbors and comply with community standards.
✶ Creek Safety: A year-round stream runs behind the home, creating a beautiful and relaxing setting. Please supervise children closely at all times near the water. For safety and respect of private property, do not climb rocks or cross to the opposite bank — that area belongs to our neighbor. The creekside area can be slick after rain or snow, so enjoy from stable areas and watch your footing.
✶ Grill Use: A propane grill is available on the patio off the kitchen for outdoor cooking. Check local fire restrictions before use, and follow all posted instructions for safe operation. Use only as designed — do not add wood, charcoal, or any other fuel sources. Always ensure the burners and propane valve are completely turned off and the grill has cooled before leaving or going inside.
✶ Electric Fireplaces: Each level of the home features an electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth. Please enjoy them as desired, but switch off all units before leaving the room or going to bed. The glass and vents may get hot — keep children, fabrics, and flammables clear for safety.
✶ Smoking: Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Guests may smoke only in designated outdoor areas — the dining deck off the main floor and the private upper deck off the master bedroom. Ashtrays are provided for proper disposal. Please close doors while smoking outside to help keep the home fresh for future guests.
✶ Rental Agreement: Completion of a brief rental agreement is a condition of booking. The guest listed on the reservation must sign electronically within 24 hours of booking. A copy of the full agreement is included under “House Rules” for your reference.

It was the most convenient location. Close to everything. The kitchen was fully equipped, towels galore, stocked on soap , toilet paper,trash bags. Love the commication, although nothing much was needed. Will definitely stay there again.
We stayed for a long weekend for college graduation with friends and family. Awesome property and location. The house was beautiful. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.
Close to nearly everything we wanted to see and do. Overall was a good stay with my wife, kids, grandkids and 89 year old dad. The biggest draw back, was the closeness of the neighboring houses and the lack of outdoor space.
This was a wonderful home for a long weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday! We were 4 families, with 2 kids and had plenty of room for cooking together and playing games. We we're there in February so we didn't spend much time outside, but we did have deer visit one morning. A small snowfall made the forested backyard even more beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend!
Chose this home for the 4 bedrooms. Traveling with husband, adult son, daughter in law and 2- teenage grandkids. LOVED HOME! Great location too.Complete with everything you could think of! Beautiful creek in backyard. Saw mule deer and wild turkeys. Only thing I wish check in was at 3 and check out at 11, not 4 & 10.
