Melissa, I am overjoyed to to hear that you had a very enjoyable vacation at my property! I would be honored to host you again, on your next adventure in Montana.
Overall, a very good experience. Great location for our activities. Spacious living & sleeping areas. Beds were comfortable. House well stocked with consumables. Areas which could use some improvement include grill & cooking gear. Also, there was some issues with small, beetle like insects.
Excellent Place to stay! Relax on the River, BBQ out back, watch wildlife in the from yard.
Very nice and unique place to stay. Home was inviting and comfortable. Well stocked

We wanted to be close to Glacier Park while still close enough to town. This home checked our boxes along with being on the Flathead river. Spectacular!
The location is pretty much halfway between Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail ski resorts. We are planning a return trip in the summer to visit Glacier National Park. The house was comfy and quite unique. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Having a washer and dryer was so nice. The house was clean and the location was quiet and convenient. There were fun little surprises around each corner. We drank from goblets and met a knight in shining armor. It was a great memorable trip!

Thank you Jana! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay. It would be our pleasure to host you and your group again in the future :)
The property was great with lots of clean, comfortable beds and bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with basics to cook all our meals. My pre-teens loved castle theme and thought it was a really fun place. The internet was very slow, so I’m glad it wasn’t a working trip because I would not have been able to work if I relied on the internet. The beds are all on levels with stairs which would normally not be an issue for my parents(65), my sister (30) and myself (40) or my kids (10-12) but my mom was on crutches so it was not the easiest to get to any of the rooms as even the most accessible required a few stairs. We loved the park and the yard. We watched deer while we had coffee and after dinner every night. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It was a really great experience.

Thank you for allowing us to host your stay Jessica! It is wonderful to hear that you had a really great experience at our property. We appreciate that you left the home so nicely. We would be very happy to have you back anytime!
The host, Kim, provided a very thorough local "guide" email a few days before our arrival. This was very helpful to ensure we got the most out of our stay.
The property itself had plenty of space for our party of 8 adults, the neighborhood is very quiet, and there's plenty of wildlife to watch from the living room window.
We really enjoyed the property's take a little, leave a little bar policy.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances.

Hello Frantz, thank you for the 5 stars! We are very happy to hear that the property worked out so well for your group. You left the home in wonderful condition. We would welcome hosting you again!
All bedrooms were up a series of stairs. This should be more evident in the information and pictures
There were areas where construction was not finished and many items would not have met code.
The DVD did not work
The area location was very nice and the atmosphere was quaint

We would welcome you to stay again on your next trip to Glacier National Park!

Worst stay in last 15 years of using vrbo
Easily the worst property we have stayed in. Overrun with bugs inside and outside and the kids found the interior decor to be spooky. We spoke with the owner about our concerns and no action was taken. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

The photos display the uniqueness of the home. Most people really enjoy it. That being said, it’s not for everyone.
As we explained during your stay David, you’re staying in the forest, so there will be insects. The valley also had unusually high water this season, which breeds extra insects. We did everything possible to help; sprayed the property, hung outdoor insect repellents, and provided personal insect spray. A housekeeper was sent out during your stay, per your request, to sweep and vacuum. Unfortunately, there’s not much else that could be done.
For your next vacation, staying in a city may be more to your liking.

Not what we expected
The neighbors and host were very friendly but so many parts of the house are not pictured and outdated. There were no lamps or outdoor lights, no laundry baskets, musty smells, creepy statues lurking in the dark, dead bugs and rust in tubs, discolored carpeting, loose floor tiles, hand writing on walls, jacuzzi hot water issues, low toilets with flushing trouble, no access to three garages, and many aspects needing updated. The home was ready early with beds made plus fresh towels and we enjoyed it being close to GNP etc (25 minutes and not 15 as depicted) with a nearby river through a trail, but overall it was not the luxurious stay we expected for the price we paid.

The photos display the uniqueness of the home. Most people really enjoy it. That being said, it’s not for everyone. I am happy to hear the hospitality, beds, and linens were to your liking. It is a Vacation-Rental-By-Owner, and the owner stores their personal items in the garage. Many factors, including time of day of your travels, affect drive time estimates. On future vacations, it would be helpful to communicate any questions or dissatisfaction during your stay, so that the host can assist. I would have helped in any way possible, including best times and routes for travel. Wishing you excellent future adventures!
