Nice place to stay in Guerneville

The home was clean, well appointed and as advertised. The beds are comfortable and the location is beautiful. As previously mentioned, parking is a little tight, but the entire neighborhood deals with the same issue. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Comfy hideaway in the trees

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The kitchen/living space was a perfect hangout for our family and the bedroom configuration ideal for our needs. We’d love to come back in the summer when we can use the awesome decks!

Lovely home on the Russian River

This was a perfect sized home for 5 friends on a reunion trip. Plenty of space to spread out, easy access to town restaurants, river beach and redwood walks. Plenty of linens and pots and pans. The window AC unit was appreciated. Would recommend this place to others.

Quick Guerneville Getaway

We stayed three nights in the house. It was perfect for my husband and I and two teenagers, as well as our dog. The house was cozy and clean. It had everything we needed. Getting to town was easy.

Wonderful house

We had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic and close to everything. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Definitely recommend this house. The staircase going downstairs was a little sketchy and not the safest for infants.

A cozy escape in the woods

This house had everything we wanted: comfy living room furniture, a big dining room table, an open kitchen, comfortable beds. The windows look out into the trees for a relaxing and private view. The only drawback was that it rained, so we didn't get to take full advantage of the great outdoor space on the two decks.

Amazing property in the woods, so close to the river hangouts

Beautifully styled property in the woods. Very subtle touches throughout the home and very clean. It was super convenient for our family hangout in the Russian river area. Very accessible to the wine country as well. The walls & ceilings were too thin for our infant to be able to sleep without the noise carrying through - just a note if you are planning on traveling with a baby.

Great home base for exploring Guerneville

Wonderful, cozy home conveniently located less than a mile from downtown. Comfortable beds and seating, well-equipped kitchen and two large bathrooms. We especially appreciated the wood-burning stove, stained glass window and views of the redwoods from the spacious decks. The spiral staircase leading to the two lower bedrooms was slightly challenging for some folks in our party but we got used to it and it’s a quick trip up and down. The property managers left a lovely welcome basket and were quick to respond when we had a minor issue. Would stay again and recommend!

Beautiful home surrounded by tall trees

This was a beautiful property. Very spacious. Nice decor. Surrounded by beautiful trees. Close to town yet still quiet. Nice amenities. My only concern was that the indoor stairs pictured in the photos are very narrow. The steps themselves are very small and the decline is very narrow. We are healthy but it was a bit dicey going up and down the stairs. treacherous. I just think it’s good to know that before you take that.

Beautifully Appointed but parking…

Absolutely loved the house. Beautifully appointed and everything we needed. The parking situation was very challenging. My full sizes SUV did not fit well. A neighbor parked in lower spot so we spent a fair amount of time parking at Safeway and transporting people. Kinda difficult and not expected, but the house was lovely and met all our needs.

Wasn’t bad but wasn’t great

It was clean and master bead was comfy. The dishwasher didn’t work. At one point the hot water heater stopped working although maintenance was quick to come out. Although 3bdrm 2 bath, the setup isn’t really suitable for more than one family or even for multiple kids. The one downstairs bathroom is in a small bedroom and the steep stair make it difficult to access the upstairs restroom late at night or early in the morning after one’s been sleeping. The parking isn’t really silky table for more than two cars. It may have been had it not rained so much while we were there.

However, it appears that there is an overzealous property owner who lives up the hill. She came down on our last day and basically accused my wife of either being an attempted squatter or planning to steal the furniture on site because we carried our dogs and luggage in a u-haul van...... This was incredibly uncomfortable, awkward and quite honestly could have turned out in not good..... Perhaps speak to the property owner and inform them that the situation could have been better handled with a simple phone call as both of our numbers were on file......Beyond this, the property and property manager were wonderful!!!

Nice house, unfortunately not cleaned well

The property was nice, in a good location and the pictures for the listing were accurate. Unfortunately we observed mouse poop as soon as we arrived, on the dining table and in the kitchen. We cleaned up, but clearly the mouse (mice?) returned during the night. Also, the house was not cleaned well between tenants. We found a toy and half drunk water bottle under the bed in the master bedroom. The dining table still had food stuck on it, which probably encouraged the mouse visit. And there was a significant amount of dog fur around the house, especially the living room carpet and side sofa. I understand the rental allows dogs, but it should be cleaned well between tenants especially for those of us who do not have pets. Although they may have assumed we were coming with dogs, because the welcome treat left for us on the dining table were two dog biscuits... The property management was very responsive and helpful, and moved us to a different rental after the first night because we had reserved for a week in Guerneville. We appreciated their kindness and support, and had no issues with the second rental.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, would not recommend this rental. We own several airbnbs and our experienced renters and owners. The Spiral stair case is a safety issue. Our son cut his hand on it and we notified management right away. The house also slopes alot going in different directions. To our knowledge, this was not disclosed. Parking is hard and we also spun out. It is not very walkable as it is dangerous to walk on freeway/highway without sidewalks, etc. The kitchen cabinets need painting in some areas and the cleanliness of the bathtub was also noticed on the siderails where the door is. Also, tv is super small for family room and recommend much bigger tv and instead of a lockbox most airbnbs these days are using keypads which is much more convenient. The management company did leave a nice treat bag which was nice. I texted after we left about leaving my computer charger and never heard back. We did like the Russian River area but would not recommend staying here.
