Whispering Oaks is located in the secluded destination of Harkers Island. This sound front cottage offers its own private beach, along with a marina two lots away. This newly renovated home features a chef's kitchen with quartz countertops and a farmer's sink. The downstairs bath contains a new tile and glass shower combination. The upstairs master suite contains a lot of windows that overlook the sound, and you can see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse at night! A Linen Package is included with your reservation at Whispering Oaks. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a long vacation; Whispering Oaks is the perfect vacation destination! ***kayaks and canoe are not for guest use***

*Please note, that dogs are allowed on the property with an additional pet fee. Final booking price does not reflect pet fee. Spectrum Rental Properties must be contacted directly to add this fee onto your booking. Pet fees are: $200+tax for one and $400+tax for two. All pet fees are non-refundable. Whispering Oaks

This is our third year in a row staying at Whispering Oaks. Location is perfect for us, the beach on the sound is perfect for the kids and the house is well equipped for our family size. We will be likely be back again next year, if we do not outgrow the size!

Whispering Oaks adventure

We loved this charming home. The views were amazing. We enjoyed fishing, the museum and ferry. We loved eating at Fish Hook Grill and Seaside. The staff at Billy’s were so friendly and helpful. We loved the island. We will definitely go back for another visit.

Boating trip

Great place to stay, specially if you want to go boating. They don't have a boat dock but the boat ramp is 200ft away.. nice place and locals were very friendly
