This house rental is located 1 mile from Lake Lanier Islands' main entrance and is available to be rented out to accommodate the lodging needs for the visitors of Lake Lanier Islands! Lake Lanier Islands is a popular wedding venue, home to "Margaritaville" and "LandShark Landing" and so many other lakeside attractions, activities and events. We offer our house to accommodate your stay up to 9 guests to give you a 5 star Buford, GA experience!

On the main floor you will find a master bed and bath with a king size bed, Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower; a fully applianced kitchen which opens up to the eat in kitchen and living room, a formal dining room, a half bath and first floor laundry which is available to guests.

On the second floor you will find an additional 2 bedrooms which each have queen beds and a large bonus room which also has 2 queen beds. There is also a full bath to accommodate guests on the second floor.

Open the french doors off of the eat in in kitchen to find a bricked patio which offers outdoor square footage for entertaining! It is fully equipped with patio furniture, lounging chairs and a gas grill. It is beautifully landscaped and surrounded with flowers which offers a peaceful outdoor area to hang out. Experience the ambiance this environment has to offer under the pergola with white lights and the sound of the waterfall from the goldfish pond in the background. Need entertainment for the kids? There is charming playhouse with a slide that is a big hit with children. Great family get away

This property was a perfect fit for our family to get together. The house is very nice and is in a great location. Our 3 year old grandson loved the playhouse and slide in the backyard. The house is roomy, clean and ready for you. We will stay here again the next time we visit Lake Lanier.

Falcons and family for Christmas

Beautiful property steps from the marina but felt like it was in the woods. Clean, fully appointed with all the Kitchen needs taken care of. Sitting room has a cozy feel and was decorated for the holidays which really helped set a relaxing tone. Spared no expense on the mattresses. Some of the comfiest ever. Water pressure was amazing. Owners were very responsive and helpful when we needed help with the thermostat. Location was great for what we needed. Would stay again if in the area again!

Great getaway

I wanted to not like this property so much because of a hiccup with scheduling that was on my part but when I got to the house and began my stay, there was no way I could leave a bad review of this house. The house was in great condition and very clean. Everything we needed was available and easy to find. The owner was always reachable and left a sweet welcome note and treat. I would definitely stay at this house again if we travel back to Buford.

It was so nice of Luann to let us rent this space after the fiasco of my lake front rental not being available when I got to town after traveling from Jacksonville Fl to Gainesville Ga. and spending two nights in a hotel in Gainesville. Beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Even were blessed with seeing four deer on the property one morning! Thank you!

This is a beautiful home with a wonderful layout! The backyard is also wonderful! The location is perfect! It is easy to access many local attractions and restaurants. This is one of the best owners I have ever rented from, contacted, and they provided a warm and welcoming experience. You know it will be great when you are welcomed with brownies! Our group was 4 friends with 3 children. There was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. There is honestly not one negative thing or anything I would recommend changing. Thank you!!

Relaxing stay for two couples

We enjoyed our three-night stay at this lovely, well-appointed home. Highlights for us include the perfect set-up for two couples to each have privacy: a master suite downstairs and bedrooms to choose upstairs with a full bathroom. There is also plenty of room for more.... (THREE bedrooms with total of FOUR queen beds on the upper floor) ... two families with children would be comfortable as well. Living room seating with comfy leather sofa, love seat and another upholstered chair made for relaxation for all of us... including a young adult couple (children of one couple) who visited with their brand new baby. Kitchen and dinette was great with space for moving about and ample/comfortable seating. Loved the little outdoor space with glider and lots of other seating and overhead strung lights... (The chandeliers outdoors and over the kitchen table are also adorable). We enjoyed roasting ribs in the oven in the big roasting pan then finishing on the gas grill.... Both couples agreed: beds have plush, firm mattresses; we all had great nights sleeping. And, thanks to our host, Luann, for the delicious brownies with chocolate chunks! Nice treat!

Gorgeous property and super kind host (who even baked us brownies!). We were in town for our daughter’s wedding in Buford, and this house was the perfect location for us to get to all festivities and have somewhere quiet to sleep after. House was immaculate, beds were incredibly soft, all amenities (towels, etc) were readily available, and checking in/out was super easy. Highly recommend staying at Luann’s property! She was lovely to work with!

Luann was the sweetest host and so responsive through the process. We had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and inviting. We felt like we were staying at a friend or family members home. The kids loved it too and said they didn’t want to leave the house. Luann was sweet to leave fish food for them so they could feed the fish in the pond. The yard was so charming and great for play as well. I could write so much more, but I highly recommend staying here and the lake was so incredibly beautiful. So many things to do and the location was extremely convenient.

As a trip for our 4 grandsons to visit Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, the location is beyond perfect! The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and 4 queen beds that more than accommodated our grandsons. The master suite is on the main floor and the space is ah-mazing!!! I could go on for days as to how comfortable the bed is… Our hosts were so kind and informative and made sure I had all I needed to make our stay that much more spectacular 🥰We now know where we will stay every summer on our annual “grandson getaway”.

My name is Luann and my husbands name is Sam. We have 4 kids and 5 grand kids. We are home bodies and have spent a lot of time making this house a home. I have a passion for interior decorating and gardening. Spending time on my patio surrounded by flowers is one of my favorite things to do! It was my dear friends idea that we should rent our house out on Airbnb. She brought it to our attention that Lake Lanier is such a popular travel destination and our house would be such a treat for visitors to rent out during their stay. It was a no brainer for us to become hosts. We have been brainstorming on ways to make extra income for retirement, we have a spacious house 1 mile from the lake and are very hospitable people. We have enjoyed our time here and offering it out to others to do the same is a win win! We really hope you enjoy our home as much as we do :-)

Why they chose this property

It reminded me of the home that we raised our kids in in Ohio. I feel in love with it the second I seen it. I knocked on the door when it was up for sale and made an offer to the seller right then and there.

What makes this property unique

First floor living when its just my husband and I and when family comes to town the entire upstairs is ready to accommodate them with 4 queen beds and a full bath. They love to come visit us from Ohio because the weather is gorgeous here and our house is surrounded by so many family fun activities. We spend the summer nights on the patio enjoying grilling out and the mornings with a cup of coffee.
