Not Clean - Owner Unresponsive
Photos of property do not show the front entrance, which is dirty, uninviting and a shock. The interior is not being properly cleaned especially kitchen appliances and drawers. I needed to wash bathroom and bathmat before use, and vacuum the ground floor. The state of the vacuum cleaner and mop bucket were unbelievable, full of dirt. WIFI was under lock and key on arrival but local agency fixed that on day 2.
The local agent didn’t make a case with the owner for the complaints we made to her on day 2 of our stay (at least that is what the owner told me). VRBO were sending me emails asking me for the same information over and over, and it cost me €36 to phone a US number twice. I sent VRBO photos of the dirt. Finally Abritel helped and VRBO refunded the service fee. The agency in Gruissan, or owner, made no effort to help solve any problems. Owner thought providing me with sheets and towels was enough. I find that pathetic.
This property needs to be cleaned up and the photos should show the entire property and not the glamorous parts. The girl who called to check us out took lots of photos. I had already sent many of them to VRBO. I have them as proof of my complaints. If what I have listed was cleaned up the place could be very pleasant.
Unless the property is cleaned and the entrance dealt with, this property should no longer be advertised on your website. It is not inexpensive and I was expecting a very pleasant stay. Instead all I had was hassle and stress.
