Very unique property on Lake Honeoye. 107 feet of waterfront with dock and boat lift as well as a fine pebble beach area. Lakehouse fully renovated in 2016 to include a gourmet kitchen as well as an updated bathroom. 2 bedrooms downstairs which sleeps​ , ​five people. Upstairs has a second full bath as well​ as a large bunk room that sleeps eight. Upstairs also has​ a separate​ change room with a sink and is often used as a bedroom for children. Off the kitchen is a 450 square foot deck steps away from the lake. Property has a heated inground pool ( May-Sept) on the lake as well as a hot tub and Sauna. Two separate living areas both with their own decks over looking the lake, one room has a wood burning stove and the other a gas firplace. All beds have new memory foam mattresses and furnishings are all new. For use are 2 one man kayaks, a canoe, dock, ​ andWeber​ kettle charcoal grill. Lake offers great fishing and amazing sunsets. New in 2020 is a stone patio at waters edge with a firepit.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The view is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had great amenities and everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Whenever we had a question, Ed was quick to respond and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our time at the house and on the lake. Ed was super helpful and very responsive anytime we had questions. The sunsets alone are worth staying. We will definitely return!

We had an absolutely incredible time! Fishing off the dock, swimming in the lake, and using the pool and hot tub. The house was beautiful and well laid out. Location was close enough to Rodchester and Corning for the rainy days. The owner communicated well and often, quickly responding to questions and concerns. While we would stay here again, I'm giving it a lower rating due to some maintenance issues we ran across that I didn't expect for the price point. Examples... The AC units were unable to keep up and the one froze up making it unusable the rest of the trip. Many upstairs outlets were not working. A lot of ants in the house. Minor leak in the roof (which the owner addressed immediately). Just to name a few. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Beautiful property with terrific lake access and plenty of parking space. Spacious kitchen and living areas with plenty of sleeping space. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful plus. My family voted it was the best VRBO yet.

House was lovely, plenty of room/ seating for everyone, good kitchen, nice location. On the lake with kayaks and a canoe, hot tub, and pool. We spent 5 days at this beautiful place on the lake. Plenty of room, plenty of toys, and the views are perfect. Owner always responded quickly, and if the water toys onsite arent enough, there is a boat rental just a few blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.

This lake house had everything we needed for our family with two small kids! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and kayaking daily! Great stay in the finger lakes

Our group had a great time during our week here. We were two families of 4. The house was the perfect size for us and was clean. We spent a lot of time on the lake, in the pool, and the hot tub. We also did a day trip to Watkins Glen one day.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This is a beautiful property located right on Honeyoye Lake. There was more than enough room for our group of 9 and the accommodations are top notch! There is a very clean pool, hot tub, sauna, kayaks and rowboat for renters to use. We really did not need to leave the premises at all! We highly recommend this property and are so grateful for being able to spend time with our extended family in such a perfect setting!

Honeoye Lake House

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. House is well maintained, and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub made the stay even better. Water sports (kayaks and rowboat) were available along with required safety.vests. Everything we needed for a great vacation was available at the location. We enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it based on the property, the location, and the hospitality of the owner.

Lakefront property

This was a great palace for family get together. We had a wonderful lakefront view..pool and hot tub. The kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and each of them caught a fish. The accommodations were updated and clean. I would highly recommend this booking. There’s not a lot to due nearby so just enjoy the stay. We also rented a boat and had a fine time on the water.

First, our hosts Ed and his wife were attentive, friendly, and very responsive. A minor problem that arose was settled in minutes. I cannot say enough about how good they were from the booking process all the way through our stay. The house itself was exactly as described on the website, a fact that we found remarkable considering other houses we have rented in the past. All the rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and dish ware. The downstairs bathroom is large and features a huge walk in shower. The outdoor area is amazing. The fire pit area is right on the lake. I highly recommend both the property and its owners.

Lovely View & Pool & Hot Tub

The property was lovely and easy to access. Great view of the lake and the heated pool was fantastic as well as the hot tub. A lovely way to spend a week in June. The owner was easy to get a hold of and let some of us check in early, which was very much appreciated! (Just a note for future visitors: you are required to dispose of your own trash and washcloths were not provided, so if you use them, you'll want to bring your own.)

Perfect balance of lake and kid activities

This is a lovely property and was the perfect getaway for our family. Our kids spent hours (each day!) in the pool or poking around the lakeshore. The offered pool inflatables were a hit and kept the kids further entertained. We enjoyed the proximity to both Canandaigua Rochester to take advantage of museums, bowling, restaurants, amusement parks, and the zoo. It was a great way to balance relaxing at the lake house with some external fun. The house was clean, comfortable, and oh so relaxing.

A lovely stay for a family gathering! The mature trees on the shoreline frame a beautiful view and provide shade on hot afternoons. It is fun to alternate between the lake for kayaking and the pool for swimming. The fishing in the cove is excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and the house clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive when we had a glitch in the air conditioning one day. The second floor is ideal for tweens and teens as they can be together and still have their own space. Wi-Fi access was seamless for those who had to handle work issues. Highly recommend.

Father's Day week at Lake Honeoye

Property is beautiful. Ideal location for nightly sunsets. Pool and hot tub overlook the lake. Fire pit area is perfect spot for making smores and enjoying family time. House is spacious and nicely equipped. Lots of water toys and games to play. Ed is a great host. He was available for a question or two during our stay and was quick with making sure our stay was nothing but enjoyable. We look forward to return again.

Lake vacation

We had a nice vacation on the lake. It was a little cool and the weather prevented us from spending as much time on the water as we had hoped, but the property was great. The kids caught dozens of sunfish, bass and perch off the dock. We enjoyed the fire by the lake with s’mores each night. The beds were comfortable, the views are spectacular. We have great memories of the time spent here. The property owner was great to work with and the rental process was quick and easy.

Can't say enough nice things about the house, property and experience. The house is well equipped to handle many people, the property is extremely well kept, the pool and hot tub were outstanding! The fishing from the dock and kayaks was AWESOME. We had a really great time doing the Canandagua wine trail and eating at some of the places Ed recommended. We went to Grimes glen which is a short drive, and really enjoyed the house and entire area. Thanks Ed!

Beautiful retreat

The property is absolutely gorgeous and located right on the lake. It was quiet and the property is being updated so you can kind of see the progress that they are making. It was enjoyable to look through the book of where they started and how it’s going. It is great to have the pool available as well as the sauna and we enjoyed that. While we did not have any children with us, the upstairs could easily sleep a good number of kiddos. We had one question around the laundry machine that cropped up, and the owners were very responsive. I would definitely return to the property. It was a little slice of heaven in a very beautiful part of the world.

We are a family of 5, twin 21 year old girls and a 14 year old girl. Our permanent residence is about 70 miles west of Honeoye lake near Buffalo NY. This property was purchased and renovated in 2016 with no intent of renting. As our children became more active with sports we are often travelling with their teams which makes it more difficult to get to the lake. We have had so many great times at the lake in the short period of owning this property that we decided that we would like to share this with others and decided to make it available on VRBO. What we enjoy most about this property and the lake are the specacular sunsets, while renovating we made sure that everyroom has plenty of windows overlooking the lake. The lake is shallow and warms up early in the season and we love to wakeboard and surf as well as fish right from the dock. Our cove is one of the best areas for large mouth bass and walleye which can be caught right from the dock. As we became more familiar with the area during our weekend trips we have found so many hidden gems in the area. We do our best to make sure everything is perfect for our guest and we ask that our home be treated as if it was your own.

Sunset from this property at amazing! So amazing that we recently had a lakeside grilling area installed so that we can cook while enjoying the sunset form the edge of the lake.

What makes this property unique

This property had 110 feet of lake front with a beach area. Unground pool (seasonal), Hot tub and sauna both open year round. Property sits on just under an acre of land so there is plenty of space to spread out. We are very close to skiing for the winter sports enthusiasts. Fall is spectacular and our location to the wine route make this property stand out for year round enjoyment.
