Brigitte and Alain welcome you to the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes in the small village of Olloix ...

The Village of Olloix has about 320 inhabitants and is only 20 minutes from the A75 motorway and 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, capital of Auvergne. Well sheltered between "Puy d'Olloix" (1002m), Puy d'Ozenne (914m) and Puy de Marquerole (870 m), it enjoys an ideal climate, cool in summer and mild in winter . It is a central point to access the biggest tourist sites in the region, all located less than an hour's drive from the village.
On foot, several circuits are possible starting from the house, the valley of the Monne, the village of Saint Saturnin, the Abbey of Randol ...
You can also climb to the top of Puy d'Olloix in less than 30 minutes and enjoy a 360 ° panorama with a breathtaking view of Puy de Sancy, the highest peak in the region and the highest volcano in France ( 1885m).
Behind the property you can discover Auvergnate specialties at the inn "La Maison de la Monne".
Our house has everything you need for a pleasant stay.
In the large garden you can relax in the shade of the trees or on the sunny terrace with views of the valley.

Over two centuries ago, the house was a barn for storing crops. In the 70s and 80s, it became an inn, "La Grange aux Ayres" which offered meals and traditional dance evenings.

Toller Standort für Erkundung der Auvergne

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, ist Bestandteil einer Pension. Das Grundstück ist sehr weitläufig mit verschiedenen Ruheplätzen und einem beheizten Swimmingpool, den wir sehr gern nach unseren Ausflügen und Wanderungen genutzt haben, mit einem wundervollen Blick über die Landschaft.

Charmante Unterkunft

Die Lage ist entsprechend des Ortes gut. Olloix selbst hat 300 Einwohner, so dass da nicht viel los ist. Die Straße rauf ist eine nettes Restaurant. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und daran interessiert, dass man vieles erlebt. Lediglich die Sprachkentnisse waren ein Problem. Unser Französisch ist nicht so gut und das Englisch der Vermieter ist auf dem Niveau unseres Französisch. Ansonsten ist es dort sehr schön. Unsere Kids fanden vor allem den Pool super. Insgesamt wirklich schön.
