Charming village house with a lovely view

In the heart of the Dordogne Valley and the Périgord Noir region, in one of the most beautiful villages in France, this spacious house of approximately 100m² features a private mini-pool for guests' use only. It is close to all amenities (a 2-minute walk from the village center).

Due to the stairs, the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

House description:
Maximum 5 people (or 6 if there are 4 children)

Ground Floor:
A large living room with a wood-burning stove and exposed stone walls, opening onto a fully equipped kitchen.

A shower room with a shower and toilet.

A utility room with a washing machine.

Upstairs:
A living room with TV,
A large bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed,
A large bedroom with two 90x190cm single beds and a sofa bed (160x200cm).
A baby cot can be set up in either bedroom.
Shower room/WC
Access to the terrace and the private 3.50 x 2.50m unheated mini-pool. 1.35m deep, with a lovely unobstructed view of the Nauze Valley.

- Private parking is available on the same street.

Conditions:
Reservations are only from Saturday to Saturday.

Cleaning and linens are included in the rental price (2 towels per person).

Ideally located for exploring the medieval castles of the Périgord region, such as Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, and Biron, as well as the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, where canoeing and traditional flat-bottomed boat trips are available.
Culturally, you'll find Cadouin Abbey and numerous charming villages like Sarlat, Monpazier, Domme, and Limeuil, and famous sites such as the Lascaux Caves and Les Eyzies.
You can also discover many markets, restaurants, and gourmet dining experiences to savor the region's gastronomy.

Spectacular area

Lovely big house with ideal sized pool. Belves is a beautiful little place with excellent restaurants and an ideal focal point. However we do feel that the photos were a little mis-leading as the outstanding views looked over the neighbors garden which resembled a scrap yard. Our 2 weeks coincided with his holiday and he spent it erecting a shed with much noise everyday. The crockery and household items are very tired and 30 pounds for towels and a sheet was a little dear. Although advertised there was no Internet which we needed as my father is very ill and would have helped.

House is in a great position and it is very easy to walk into town. Loved the pool and the outside area. We loved being in the upstairs living room at night time and playing many of the board games we found in the house. Everything we needed was in the house which was brilliant- plenty of crockery etc and we absolutely loved all the extra details placed around the house which added to the homeliness. Great having 2 toilets and the shower was really good. We often found the hot water in the kitchen tap was not hot enough for washing dishes and needed to boil the kettle ( there is a dishwasher but we did not want to buy dishwasher tablets) . This is the first time we have ever been asked to pay for bedding and towels which of course we had to pay for as we flew rather than go by car and definitely the first time we’ve been asked to sweep the floor before leaving - I always strip the beds etc as a courtesy but sweeping up was a definite first! I contacted the agency to ask if we could extend our check out time which they kindly agreed to and this helped in our cleaning process and also gave us time to take the rubbish away as the bins are a short drive away! We struggled when we arrived to find our private parking place - if we had been told it was over the road from number 24 rather than the yellow house as most houses looked yellowy to us because of their stone facade it might have been better. All in all a fantastic week in a really lovely house in a beautiful village.

ons idee over het verblijf

leuk huisje in leuke buurt. We hebben zeer genoten van het terras met zijn schitterend uitzicht. Bij minder goed weer zit je toch in een vrije donkere living. Wel mooie gerieflijke keuken met minder mooi servies. Een extra poetsbeurt kon wel. Stofnetten aan plafond en trap ! En de geur die vanuit de stookruimte kwam is niet aangenaam.

Très bien

Logement très sympa, frais et la terrasse surtout est un gros plus ! Bonne localisation Terrasse et chambres à l’étage donc pas PMR et il faut tout monter à chaque fois pour manger sur la terrasse mais vue magnifique et piscine très agréable donc cela vaut le coup !

Sehr schönes Haus in guter Lage in einem sehr schönen alten Dorf

Die Terrasse mit dem Pool ist sehr schön und der Ausblick von dort ist wunderbar. Man ist in drei Minuten zu Fuß auf dem schönen Marktplatz von Belves, auf dem an unserem Ankunftabend ein tolles Konzert stattgefunden hat. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber für die leckeren Gastgeschenke. Das Aus- und Einladen unseres Autos vor dem Haus war zum Glück kein Problem, da keine anderen Autos vor der Haustür geparkt haben. Die Küche ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben bei der Ruhe sehr gut geschlafen. natürlich ist die Treppe in das 1. Obergeschoss recht steil, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Maison bien située, idéale pour les visites en Dordogne

Idéalement située dans le sublime village de Belvès, la maison est très calme et la petite piscine un vrai plus durant les journées chaudes de l’été en Dordogne. Très bon point de chute pour visiter la Dordogne.

Woning voldoet totaal niet. Reeds klacht neergelegd, wens graag dringend reactie hierop

Dit huis voldoet niet aan de verwachtingen. Ook de foto's (van de badkamer en de facade van de woning zegt alles) zijn bedriegelijk surtout omdat deze woning kil en een enorme stank had...we wensen hierop vlug reactie te ontvangen wegens totaal mis tevreden. Graag centen terug onmogelijk om daar te overnachten reukginder, stank niet te harden

Superbe séjour!

Super semaine dans cette maison de ville atypique mais très bien retapée! La piscine est petite mais juste ce qu’il faut pour profiter de la terrasse avec une vue magnifique! Elle est très bien située dans le village de Belves qui est un superbe village avec des restaurants et des petits commerces. Au top!

Séjour d’1 semaine en Dordogne

Location idéale pour 4 adultes ou 2 adultes et 2 enfants de plus 6ans. Dans le village nous y avons trouvé 1 boulangerie un Spar un boucher et un pizzaiolo fort appréciable tout cela. Ou que vous partiez en voiture... à droite à gauche en face vous trouverez de quoi flâner et voir de beaux endroits typiques. Petit bémol: difficulté pour se stationner, la cuisine se trouve au rez de chaussée alors que la terrasse est à l’étage ce qui nous a bien embêté car nous étions avec une personne handicapée.

Séjour très agréable

Maison très bien aménagée et agencée. Elle reste fraîche lors des fortes chaleurs. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La terrasse avec la piscine est très agréable et adaptée pour des enfants de 10 ans. Merci aux attentions des propriétaires à notre arrivée (petites spécialités de la région)

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans cette maison tres confortable et bien équipée Mention speciale a la terrasse qui offre un point de vue magnifique, de bonnes baignades et ou nous avons apprécié nos aperos en fin de journée Nous etions avec 3 jeunes enfants et l’acces a la terrasse est tres bien sécurisé. La chambre des enfants/ados spacieuse et cosy. Il y a des jeux de société sur place on a adoré !!! L’emplacement de la maison est très pratique pour se deplacer. Nous avons ete tres bien accueilli et passé un excellent sejour

Parfaites vacances en famille

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en Dordogne. Le village et les alentours proposent de nombreuses animations et sorties. La maison est très confortable et bien équipée. Une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse et la piscine qui a fait la joie des grands et petits. Note spéciale pour les jeux de société qui nous ont permis de passer du bon temps. Nous reviendrons car nous avons encore beaucoup à découvrir.
