The Ancient House, wonderful Sardinia!

Ancient typical Manor house in Masainas, a little village of Sulcis, within 5Km from the nearest beach, in a strategic location on the south-west coast of Sardinia, between Capo Teulada and Sant’Antioco island, a famous locations for their pristine sea and bone-white beaches. The house is also close to many important naturalistic and archaeological sites.
The House includes a dining room with kitchenette, living room, two double bedrooms, closet, main bathroom with tub, one bathroom with shower tray, laundry room; comprises also a little refined garden of 20mq with table and chairs, love seat and recliners for pleasant moments open air.
The House has all comforts: conditioned air system, washing-machine, stove, refrigerator, TV, electric iron, ceiling fan in all bedrooms.
The House is in the main street of the village, within 100 meters you have: grocery store, fruit & vegetables shop, fish market, butcher’s shop, bakery, cafe, newsstand, pharmacy.

Little gem of a place in perfect location to explore south Sardinia

Francesca's house is very charming, spacious and had everything we needed. Even though it is in the middle of a village, it is quiet at night and the private garden gives it a very rural feel. The location is great to explore the beaches around Chia, Sant'Antioco or the area around Iglesias. Francesca is a lovely host and made us feel very welcome.

Seht schönes, altes Haus

Ein sehr restauriertes altes Haus mit einer netten und stets hilfsbereiten Vermieterin, die auf dem selben Grundstück im Nachbarhaus wohnt. An Ausstattung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Zwar liegt es an einer viel befahrenen Straße, aber nachts ist wenig Verkehr, so dass die Straße kaum stört. Diese Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert. Es hat uns gut gefallen dort.

Excellent séjour chez Francesca

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour à Masainas. Francesca nous a très bien accueilli et nous a donné de très bons conseils. Nous avons bien profité de la maison et sa terrasse. La région est magnifique et les contacts avec les habitants du village ont été très agréables. Tout y était pour passer de superbes vacances !

Maison confortable et bien située pour visiter le sud

2 salles de bain, climatisation, maison joliment décorée. Maison très bien située pour visiter tout le sud de l'île, accueil très gentil et discret de Francesca. Seul bémol le bruit de la route, mais nous voulions une maison de ville donc pas de surprise.

Très belle maison !

Maison magnifique avec bcp de charme. Très propre. Très joli jardin. La propriétaire est adorable et vous aide à découvrir une très belle région. Le gîte est idéalement situé pour découvrir le sud ouest delà Sardaigne. Seul bémol : il est situé en bord de route très passante.

Perfect

The House is a dream, Francesca was super friendly and welcoming. The area is absolutely georgeous. You can choose between several wonderful beaches, make nice day trips and get the best pizza just around the corner. The house is right beside the road, so you do hear the life outside, but that didn't bother us too much. In short: we highly recommend a stay in La Casa Manca, but be aware: you might not want to go back.

Super Wohnung - Splendido appartamento

Tolle Wohnung, Klima in jedem Raum, eigener Bereich in super schönem Garten, wunderschöne Strände Wir haben zwischen Porto Flavia und Chia viele wunderschöne Strände entdeckt und noch lange nicht alle gesehen😊 sehr empfehlenswerte Lage - Fantastico appartamenti, aria condizionata in ogni stanza e nella cucina , area privata in un giardino bellissilo, spiagge bellissime Noi abbiamo visitato tante spiagge tra Porto Flavia e Chia e non abbiamo visto tutto 😊 posizione del appartamento da consigliare

Liebevoll saniertes altes Haus

Wir haben uns in dem farbenfrohen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Alles war sehr sauber und gut vorbereitet. Der Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke - italienisch familär. In den Liegestühlen auf der Terrasse hinter dem Haus kann man es sich gut gehen lassen. Francisco ist super hilfsbereit und nett.

Historisches Haus mit schönem Garten/ Innenhof

Wir haben die Woche in dem wunderschönen Haus und Garten sehr genossen. Francesca ist eine sympathische, angenehme und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, die im Nachbarhaus wohnt und dadurch rasch vor Ort ist. Besonders auf der Terrasse im Innenhof mit Sonnensegel haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn man keine Lust hat zu kochen, gibt es leckere Pizza und Gelati gleich um die Ecke. An der Region hat uns gefallen, dass sie nicht so touristisch ist, man feine Obst- und Gemüsestände an der Strasse findet und viele wunderschöne Strände und nette Städtchen erkunden kann. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert - wir hoffen, dass es nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in Masainas gewesen ist. Mille grazie, Francesca!

Entschleunigung pur

Wir haben die Zeit in Francescas liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen. Insbesondere hat uns der wunderschöne Garten gefallen, in dem wir morgens gefrühstückt haben und abends beim Zirpen der Grillen regelmäßig noch ein Glas hervorragenden sardischen Wein getrunken haben. Obwohl das Haus direkt an der Dorfstraße liegt, schläft man angenehm ruhig. Durch die in allen Zimmern vorhandene Aircondition wurde es auch niemals zu heiß. Masainas liegt sehr gut, um von dort aus die schönen Strände des Südens zu besuchen (unser Lieblingssrand war Su Giudeu bei Chia). Aber auch Ausflüge ins Umland und vor allem nach Cagliari sind zu empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Grazie ancora Francesca!

Casa con giardino e relax

Casa confortevole e accogliente, ristrutturata di recente, offre spazi comodi e ben distribuiti. Delizioso l’angolo giardino attrezzato circondato da piante di rosmarino. La proprietaria Francesca è gentilissima e pronta a dare un sacco di informazioni utili. Il paese è piccolissimo ma permette di vivere una vacanza fuori dallo stress delle solite località balneari. Consigliatissimo. P.s.: ottima la pizza da asporto di fronte casa.

Bella vacanza nel sud ovest della Sardegna

La Casa Manca è molto comoda per vedere tutto il sud ovest della Sardegna. Molto vicine le spiagge di Is Salinas, Porto Pino, la spiaggia delle dune bianche, Porto Tramatzu l'Isola di Sant'Antioco e l'isola di San Pietro. La casa è sulla strada principale di Masainas, l'edificio è stato interamente ristrutturato dalla proprietaria che lo ha arredato in modo molto piacevole con un richiamo allo stile sardo tradizionale. Molto comode le due camere e i due bagni al primo piano. Bellissimo il patio interno che è condiviso con l'altro appartamento e ha un tavolino e un angolo ombreggiato da una tensostruttura molto bello la sera quando la temperatura si abbassa. Complice il forte caldo di quest'anno (2017), abbiamo sofferto un po' il caldo la notte per la mancanza del climatizzatore, ci sono dei ventilatori da parete che hanno aiutato, ma purtroppo senza riuscire ad abbassare la temperatura. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene, la consiglierei anche in periodo da giugno ai primi di luglio oppure a settembre con una temperatura più accettabile.

Geschmackvolles Feriendomizil

Es handelt sich hierbei um ein liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Domizil. Wir waren zu viert und hatten reichlich Platz und Raum. Die Ausstattung von Küche und Geschirr war ausreichend hätte aber auch gerne mehr (Geschirr, Besteck, .. ) sein dürfen. Unsere Kinder haben Wifi /Wlan vermisst, aber so haben wir abends Gesellschaftsspiele gespielt und eine wertvolle Zeit miteinander verbracht. Das Haus befindet sich an der Ortsdurchgangsstraße, welche je nach Tageszeit mal mehr und mal weniger stark frequentiert ist. Leider sind die Schlafräume zur Straße hin ausgerichtet. Wir als Landbewohner sind Straßenlärm in dieser Dimension nicht gewöhnt und hatten unsere Probleme damit; Stadtmenschen stört dies vermutlich weniger. Wir haben uns gerne auf der nett gestalteten Terasse aufgehalten. Im Ort ist alles an Geschäften vorhanden um sich gut zu versorgen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war nett und unkompliziert.

Una vacanza fantastica nella Sardegna più vera.

Ho soggiornato per quindici giorni nell' appartamento Casa Azzurra e tutto è andato meravigliosamente bene. La casa è finemente ristrutturata con un fantastico spazio esterno immerso negli aromi mediterranei per colazioni baciate dal sole e cene a lume di luna. Tutto molto funzionale x il soggiorno, la camera matrimoniale ampia con armadio spazioso, cameretta con due letti singoli e stanza guardaroba, due bagni di cui uno molto ampio con finestra. Posto auto nella corte ma anche sulla via non abbiamo mai avuto problemi di parcheggio. La proprietaria Francesca sempre molto disponibile al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare una cartina della zona con i punti di maggiore interesse e devo dire che la posizione è fantastica per la vicinanza dell' appartamento a luoghi e spiagge meravigliose.

Un soggiorno incantevole

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo soggiornato nella Casa azzurra per le ferie estive 2016. L'appartamento è situato in un piccolo paese ma con tutti i servizi essenziali. Le foto e la descrizione della casa riportate sul sito rispecchiano al 100% quello che è apparso ai nostri occhi. L'abitazione è stata finemente ristrutturata ed è dotata di tutti i confort necessari per il soggiorno, indimenticabili le colazioni baciati dal sole e le cene alla luce della luna nel giardinetto contornato dagli aromi mediterranei. La camera matrimoniale è molto spaziosa come pure utilissima la stanza guardaroba annessa alla cameretta. I due bagni sono arredati con stile di cui uno con ampia finestra. Il posto auto è nel cortile interno ma anche nella via principale non abbiamo mai avuto difficoltà di parcheggio a quasiasi ora del giorno/notte. La posizione della abitazione è strategica in quanto in mezz'ora di auto si raggiungono siti e spiagge fra le più belle della Sardegna. Francesca la proprietaria è sempre presente e disponibile anche se durante la nostra permanenza non abbiamo avuto necessità di chiamarla perché è andato tutto benissimo. Consiglieri questo appartamento senz'altro a chi vuole staccare dal frenesismo e immergersi in una atmosfera rilassante ed incantevole.

Superbe maison et accueil chaleureux

Une maison typique, très joliment meublée et décorée, très agréable avec une vue superbe sur les reliefs du sud de la Sardaigne depuis la terrasse au coeur d'un jardin joliment fleuri et aboré. Idéalement située pour visiter la région, au coeur d'une petite ville calme et jolie, nous avons passé dans cette maison 3 semaines merveilleuses. Merci à vous, Francesca pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse, vos conseils, votre disponibilité et nous avoir permis de profiter de votre belle maison. Nous reviendrons !

Delightful !

I spent the first week of October 2015 at the beautiful Casa Manca in Masainas, Southern Sardinia, and would like to share some thoughts. Firstly : for anyone trying to escape big-city stress, this part of the world is unique. Slow pace, super-friendly people, lovely weather, world-class beaches, endless natural beauty, low cost-of-living : Southern Sardinia has it all. Secondly : the property. Built in the 1700's, it has been painstakingly restored to the original (with all mod cons) by the owner, an important Italian architect. In fact the early inhabitants would be pleasantly shocked if they could see it, interiors, exterior, garden which supercede most boutique hotels. There is a magical tranquility about this place that cannot be described : I spent so many hours in the serene gardens reading, chatting, listening to birdsong, dozing. I really cannot recomment this place enough : one of the most relaxing holidays of my life ; I aim to return here as often as possible. Could not fault a single thing.

Belle maison typique

C'est une belle maison typique sarde récemment restaurée. Le village est très bien situé et permet de visiter le sud de la Sardaigne. Les plages ne sont pas loin. Le jardin est très agréable en fin d'après midi quand il est à l'ombre. La route qui passe au pied de la maison est assez bruyante. C'est le point faible. Très bon accueil de Francesca et bons conseils de visites. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Lovely house and gardens

We really enjoyed staying at Antica Casa Manca. Francesca was very kind in letting us check in early and the house was lovely and clean. It is a spacious house with a beautiful shared courtyard and secure parking. It is close to shops, the beach and an interesting part of Sardinia. Francesca was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this house to others. Thanks Francesca!
