Originally designed by Ralph Twitchell, one of the founding members of the Sarasota School of Architecture, this midcentury waterfront home is primely positioned in the heart of Sarasota on the shores of Phillippi Creek. With over 200 feet of peaceful shoreline​​ enjoy quiet moments of bird watching or kayaking the calm waters. The elegant home pays homage to classic design including vaulted ceilings, large picture windows, and spacious rooms with built-ins and storage. Practical features include an oversized​ utility/laundry area, a fully remodeled​ kitchen with a contemporary, open concept layout. With over 2000 square feet this home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms everyone can take advantage of their own space.

Beautiful midcentury waterfront home on Phillipi Creek is close to all that Sarasota has to offer. 5.4 miles to America's number 1 beach Siesta Key, and only a few short blocks from stores, nightlife​, & other beaches. 4.8 miles to Sarasota downtown. This quaint getaway includes a kayak to enjoy the pure bliss of the calm ​​​waters of ​​Phillipi Creek as well as a game room including a pool table, foosball table, and plenty seating areas to lounge around and chat.​

This is a 60's home in pristine condition in a beautiful setting on a river. We LOVED it. I 100% recommend this and the owners. The kitchen was updated, but the rest of the house looked preserved for anyone to enjoy. Great AC, water pressure, linens, and everything else. FANTASTIC!

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay and get married. From the very beginning, Liceth, the wonderful host, was accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the house and yard wedding-ready. We spoke on the phone numerous times and every detail was handled with care, which made me feel so much better planning from out-of-state.The home itself exceeded our expectations in every way. It is even more beautiful than the photos, thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and spacious enough to comfortably host our celebration. Staying on the creek is a truly magical experience. It was serene waking up to experience the sunrise flood through the floor to ceiling windows, reflect off the water and be able to watch the wildlife wakeup with you. It was the perfect setting and felt very private for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and outdoor dinner. Afterwards, the living room was ideal for our dance party, with space to dance and plenty of comfortable furniture to relax.The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and as a bonus there's a downstairs sink as well. Our catering company utilized both spaces.Thank you Liceth for sharing such a special property with us. We cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway or an unforgettable event venue. We cannot wait to return one day to relive our special memories.

We got married in front of the beautiful oak tree. The sidewalk is a perfect "aisle". We were able to fit 20 people in chairs on the concrete pad comfortably. Dinner and cocktail hour were right next to the ceremony site

This Is a beautiful home and perfect for families or a fun vacation with adults. We had everything we needed, everything was very clean and the home was very spacious. This could not have been a more perfect everything. No matter the age or interests, it was absolutely amazing!! It’s in the middle of Sarasota and an older neighborhood, but it feels very secluded and private. Would recommend 100%!

Nice Oasis away from home!

My family came for our grandmother's 90th birthday! The host made this experience the best we have ever had! Super accommodating and attentive to detail. The house was super clean and inviting. Beautiful appointed Creek front property

This property is a gem, there are plenty of space for family and bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped with all you need. Downstairs pool table and foosball were a hit with my boys. Outdoor space is absolutely perfect for older kids and we even saw manatees one morning

Wonderful waterfront home!

Traveled to Sarasota with my sister and our young adult children to see our elderly parents. This home was such a treat and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We loved being on Philippi Creek with use of kayaks and sitting out by the water. Growing up in Sarasota this home was a gem and brought back memories being close to my high school. Would definitely stay here again and wish we owned this awesome home! Thanks to Liceth for sharing such a treasure and keeping the original retro home design in tact.
