After a busy day enjoying Georgian Dublin, return to this elegant modern mews house. This beautiful architect designed mews with a long, well maintained garden is the perfect urban retreat. Just a 25 minute taxi from the airport or 45 minutes on the Aircoach from Dublin Airport . Although there is secure parking on site also, this mews is ideally located in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, within easy walking distance of Dublin City Center, Grand Canal Dock, RDS and Aviva Stadiums.
Enter through the electric gates (parking for 1 car) off this quiet, exclusive Dublin 4 lane.
The Space: This luxurious three bedroom mews house features a modern and stylish living room with a bright welcoming feel. With a comfy sofa, 2 armchairs, a tv and open plan kitchen/dining area, its the perfect space to relax.
On the ground floor is the huge master bedroom (king sized bed) and en-suite bath room with jacuzzi bath. You can access the garden through the floor to ceiling patio doors - which can be pushed back fully. Comfortable garden furniture is available to relax and enjoy the garden. The washer/dryer and a large fridge freezer are on this floor.
On the second floor is the airy double height sitting room/kitchen. It is wonderfully bright anytime of year. There’s a working gas fireplace and comfortable sofa and chairs. There is an open plan kitchen, with fridge, oven, toaster, coffeemaker and dishwasher. Another set of concertina doors open onto a sun trap balcony with newly laid decking which overlooks the winding garden path and the majestic Georgian buildings. There is outdoor table, sofa and chairs for 8 people on the terrace. A spiral staircase can be used to access the garden from this level. It is totally private and not overlooked.
Also on this floor is a bright queen-sized double bedroom and a single bedroom with ample storage. There is a guest loo and a bathroom.
Upstairs is a bright office with a desk and a sofa.
You will enjoy full access to all of the high end quality appliances, TV and high speed Internet
The Neighborhood: The property is located in the heart of Dublin’s premier district. It is walking distance to Grand Canal Dock, Dublin City Center, Grafton Street, Trinity College, Aviva Stadium Lansdowne Road and the RDS.
Getting Around: Most of Dublin’s tourists spots are within 25min walking distance. Buses are available from the end of the lane out to UCD and into the central Dublin. Uber and Free Now ( a taxi app) make getting anywhere in the city easy, especially since taxis can use the bus lanes and beat the rush hour stress.
Airport transfers: Taxis or Ubers( beat the queue) are the quickest way from the airport into Dublin 4. If you’d like a driver to meet you at the airport please let us know and we can send you some numbers. The AirCoach is a cheaper option and has a stop on Morehampton Road and Waterloo Road which is a 5 minute walk to the mews.

The hosts were kind and accessible. The space was perfect for our family of 4 and the location was within walking distance to many wonderful places to visit in Dublin as well as terrific neighborhood restaurants and pubs. The garden is spectacular!
This is a lovely home. Very comfortable, easy access to shops and restaurants. Both the property manager and the owner were extremely helpful when our flight out was cancelled and we needed to stay another night! Our luck, it was a wonderful extra day in Dublin!
This is a great house for a family. With two teenagers, it can be challenging to find a place with enough space for all of us. This comfortably fit the bill. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with restaurants and grocery a short walk. The backyard is so peaceful, and while we did not spend much time in the yard, it was nice having the windows of the sitting area and downstairs bedroom looking out onto it. We walked to St. Stephens Green and some other sites, but it is a good walk. If we were staying longer, I would have made better use of the yellow bus line. It is right down the block and would have saved some walking.
Our stay at 17 Wellington Lane was absolutely perfect! We were visiting our son at UCD. The location was superb…..easy to walk to many areas. The house was beautiful, clean, secure and very quiet. The owner was amazing! Very responsive and extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this location! We loved our Dublin visit:)

This unit suited us just right. Location allows for safe and comfortable walks including shops and pubs. The area contains embassies so those were fun to look at. The terraced garden area was so vibrant in the back yard! We spent time on the deck each time the sun came out. Beds were great, place was spotless and the responsiveness and generosity of our host and her friend made this, our first trip to Ireland, deluxe.

Absolutely lovely is the best way to describe everything about this place—the furnishings, comfort level, location, locals and especially the host, Pam. We were four old friends who had plenty of space to both spread out and gather. Perfect place to relax with a whiskey after a day of exploring. Easy to walk to pubs and restaurants (Little Kitchen and Saigon were standouts). Buses are just around the corner and taxis are easy to come by, but it’s also a nice, flat walk to St Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, etc. Loved the National Museum of Archeology for the building as well as the treasures (and it’s free!). Highly, highly recommend this wonderful home away from home.
Beautiful, updated accommodation in a desirable location
I wish I could have stayed longer at the Mews. We stayed 3 nights in March with two of our closest friends. We took the master bedroom & bath and had so much comfortable space on the first floor. Our fiends took one of the bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom upstairs is split between two rooms. One houses a toilet and sink, the other a shower and sink. The space was a bit tight for putting on make-up or styling hair, but would be perfect for children/teens. Though we did not cook any meals there, the kitchen appeared to be well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils. We enjoyed the coffee machine and electric tea kettle. There was a door between the living room and the kitchen, bedrooms, stairway area. I think this would be especially helpful if I had children to put to bed early and then wanted to stay up visiting in the living room. We certainly enjoyed reminiscing about our day's adventures while looking out to the back porch and lovely garden from the living room. We took a peak at the 3rd floor home-office. It had nice lighting and would be a great place to read in quiet.
The entire place looked to have been remodeled recently in a clean simple style.
The location is conveniently outside of downtown Dublin, yet close enough that we walked to the Trinity College area daily. (We don't mind walking 20 minutes or so to get somewhere.) We also appreciated the convenience of parking our rental car in a gated area.

We enjoyed our November 2022 stay at the Mews; with the time of year we were not able to enjoy the wonderful deck and yard. But, the house itself was very comfortable, quiet, and well met our needs including taking in a game at Aviva Stadium. The owner Pamela and her property manager Rachel were very responsive to the few questions we had. We would return next time in Dublin.
We loved our stay at the Mews. Pamela was friendly, responsive, and really cared that we enjoyed our stay. The location can’t be beat and the accommodations were perfect for us. Thank you to the hosts for being so lovely.
Great house with such a nice little backyard. So close to everything, but tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood with good restaurants near by. Would stay again for sure. Pamela was quick to answer questions and was very accommodating.
17 Wellington Lane was a lovely place for us to spend 6 nights in Dublin. The back porch overlooking the garden was a real delight. Bedrooms etc were as advertised & comfortable. Our time in Dublin coincided with a strong heat wave, and so the mews got a little stuffy, but that would be the same all over Ireland and it cooled off very nicely in the evenings.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was minutes from the city centre, walking distance from Aviva Stadium and easy to get to by car. We appreciated the space with our family of 4 - plenty of room to spread out. The jetted tub was wonderful after a day walking around Dublin. Communication was fantastic with owners/property manager. Thank you for offering such a lovely home for our family's journey to Ireland!

Enjoyed our stay. Worth the price if you want to enjoy a tastefully furnished home in a nice area of Dublin, a bit away from the Temple Bar intensity. If you don’t want to walk(about one mile) to center, ask a cabby for the app that allows you to call a taxi who arrives in minutes and. Will take you anywhere.
Four friends rented the Mews and had an amazing trip. The Mews was clean, well-stocked, and close to Dublin's City Center. Pam, the owner, was in touch several times to make sure our stay was going well. We would stay here again next time in Dublin.
