I was surprised to learn this was an upstairs unit with shared parking and garage. This should have been made clear in the description. The first night the other tenant blocked our vehicle in garage. I messaged the next morning at 7:30 am and did not hear back for 3 hours. We would have preferred a no contact check in process instead of in-person. It was not convenient. Also, coffee station was insufficient for 2 day stay. As a prior host, a complimentary coffee station is standard for such a short stay. It’s a nice place but fell short of my expectations given the price point.

Newport getaway

Loved the decor and location of this well-appointed beach getaway. We also chose this particular listing for the desk alcove so members of our family could “work from home” while others explored the area. We will have to come back as there were many amenities that we didn’t even get a chance to use, such as the outdoor barbecue and patio.

This is a really lovely place to stay. The location is excellent—easy beach and boardwalk access but not noisy. The condo is impeccably clean, well appointed and spacious. I would definitely recommend this location and plan to visit again!

A great property in a convenient location

We had a great time staying at this Balboa Peninsula property. The check in process was smooth with a representative actually showing up to show us around the place and to answer questions. Nice outside furniture available to enjoy morning coffee. Close to the ferry that goes to Balboa Island, as well as a number of local restaurants.

Beach Getaway

The property was cute, and our family enjoyed our stay. Having A/C was a huge plus. Property manager was very easy to contact and communicate with both before our stay and throughout. There aren’t a ton of restaurants within walking distance which did make it a little more challenging for our family, but we made it work.

The property managers were easy to work with and we enjoyed our time in Newport Beach. The biggest asset of our rental was the great room with two couches and plenty of space.

This property looks exactly as the photos show. It was clean and had so many extras like, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes and boogie boards! It was SUCH a wonderful stay! The beach is so close and the bay as well. Minutes from all the fun shopping. The process was seamless and truly enjoyable. THANK YOU!

Great Location! Clean & Comfortable!

The location was so close to everything! The beach was not crowded and we enjoyed walking around Balboa island. We were able to walk to everything! The place was so clean, and the beds were comfortable! The sofas were also very comfortable. We really appreciated the beach umbrellas and the sand toys that were available for us to use in the garage. And there were 6 bikes available to ride! We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved unit 209 B! Unit is designed well with furniture placing to the bedding. I appreciated the home decor as well! The property managers communicated great with us and easy check-in. Fully stocked kitchen with everything in it if your planning on cooking. We would definitely stay again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO condo on Balboa Peninsula, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Why they chose this property

I purchased this home because I love the beach, the water activities close by, and the small town feel of Balboa Village. I love to ride my bike on the beach path, and there are bikes available at the house for guests to use. Duffy boat rentals, SUP, kayaking, surfing and fishing are all easily accessible from this home. Restaurants, bars and shopping are an easy walk.
