Super Bowl Getaway!

Our stay at Summer Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Owners Aruna and Joe couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were so easy to get in touch with, very prompt in their responses and were so incredibly kind throughout. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could want. We felt so welcomed, safe, and comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you so much for everything, this was a fantastic weekend getaway!

Family trip

My husband and I spent a long weekend on this property because we had family in town from out of state for a hockey tournament. We checked in on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. We were able to enjoy the charm of the Cape with all of the modern amenities that this property was able to provide. Everything was very clean, well-appointed, and well-thought out. The exterior was quintessential Cape while the interior had been modernized while again keeping in line with the Cape charm. The layout allowed for children to be on one side of the house while adults could still enjoy common spaces including outdoor spaces and the hot tub while younger kids were asleep. The space was close to the highway and also close to town. In addition, there were restaurants within walking distance to the property. While not available while we were there, there is also a pond with a beach within walking distance to the property. There were many special touches for couples or families. From an extensive lending library, to a litany of board games to entertain guests of all ages. Finally, but no less important, the property owner was easily accessible before and during our stay. Answering questions and providing recommendations as requested for the area. We would recommend this space to family and friends and would certainly stay here again in the future.

My husband & I have 6 properties on Cape Cod. We first vacationed here 30 years ago and fell in love with the quaint villages, historic houses and gorgeous beaches. We restore and decorate our cottages as if we vacationed there. We think you will love each and every one of them!

Why they chose this property

Summer Cottage is located just off Rt. 6A in the historic village of Yarmouthport. The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the village, with shops and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the beach on Dennis Pond. Dennis Pond has a lifeguard during the season and bathrooms.
We are also centrally located to visit either the upper Cape or lower Cape.
The cottage has been renovated down to the studs and features a extra large kitchen with large flat screen, marble counters & stainless appliances.
We have a new 6 person hot tub in the backyard as well as a fire pit and plenty of seating on the deck and patio.
