Very nice little cabin. We appreciated how easy it was to get around the area, it seemed like we were in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go but also tucked away from the main traffic. Cabin was perfect.

If you are looking to be able to cook on your trip. Susan and Henry have everything you'll need within the kitchens cabinets. From the relaxing breeze from the lake to the soft lighting within the cabin itself. The small details were thought of carefully. Surreen and blissfully calm is exactly what we were looking for and Susan and Henerys cabin fulfilled us. Thank you for such a wonderful place to make memories.

Very clean and cozy. Beautiful setting with pleasant porch and small view of the lake. Fluffy towels. Good temperature control. About 15 min from Downtown Watkins Glen and convenient to Ithaca and Corning. TV had lots of apps we could use.

The stay here was everything it was advertised. The cabin was clean, comfortable and simply beautiful. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We had no problems whatsoever. Butternut Camp was the perfect cozy hideaway that offered us a quiet refuge in which to unwind, but was close enough to the village of Watkins Glen that we could easily partake of all that was on offer. There were several wineries within easy reach as well as craft breweries. Restaurants that catered to every taste could be found in town and along state route 414. The scenery was spectacular. The gorge in the state park is not to be missed. We found our stay relaxing as well as full of activities that we enjoyed.
