A PREMIER VIEW AND IDYLLIC LOCATION! You're on the end of the Edge of America! This is the VERY LAST oceanfront home situated on the east end of Folly Beach. The property adjoins the Maritime Forest of the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve and because of this unique location there are no neighbors to the left. Your beachfront sights are the Atlantic Ocean! Imagine waking up each morning to unobstructed, mesmerizing sunrises from your balcony or deck. Watch the dolphins, hear the waves and feel the Folly ocean breezes without leaving your home.

Home is newly remodeled as of 3/1/21 with all new appliances and furnishings! This 5 bedroom/2 bath home has two balconies, an enormous wrap around deck, and a screened porch, perfect for entertaining. Abundant light floods the open floor plan through the wall of windows as you enjoy your panoramic views. TV with cable in the living room provides evening relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve family meals, and it is complemented with a large pantry. Full washing machine and dryer are located in the closet down the hall.

Main level of the home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, in addition to the living areas and kitchen. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds with a TV with cable. Bedroom 2 includes 1 queen bed and a small TV. Full bathroom is directly across the hall from both bedrooms.

Head upstairs to the additional 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has 1 queen bed, small TV, and a private, oceanfront balcony for some much needed quiet time enjoying the serenity of the seas. Middle bedroom sleeps 2 people with 2 twin beds and a desk. The last bedroom has 2 twin beds with a small TV.

Only a short walking distance to the end of the island to view the Morris Island Lighthouse and stroll down the picturesque beach. Enjoy tranquility or take a short bike or golf cart ride to downtown Folly for dining, shopping, festivals, and entertainment. Only 25 minutes drive to historic downtown Charleston. Charleston offers historic tours, carriage rides, museums, boutique shopping, world-class dining, and stroll down the harbor at Waterfront Park or The Battery.

Parking in the driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles. No trailers or RV's allowed. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, keyless entry, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No pets. No events or parties allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Property is handled through property management company and has 24-hr on-call maintenance services. This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. The location was perfect, right on the beach. The house was very clean and well stocked. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The views were absolutely amazing!

The Edge of the Edge Was Just the Getaway We Needed!

My wife, our three kids, my mother-in-law, and I could not have been happier with our stay on the edge of the edge. The privacy, seclusion, and view cannot be beaten! The house was beautiful, spotless, and one of the best stocked VRBOs we have ever stayed in (welcome basket, note with local recommendations, extra towels, spices, medical kit, etc.). I cannot imagine staying anywhere else the next time we are in Folly Beach!

Family Vacay!

This place is amazing. It is the best location I've ever seen. Because worth the end of the beach it's not as crowded. The views are magnificent. We saw dolphin daily, we chartered someone to come out and fish from the shore with us and we caught a lemon shark that was 8'7", we played in the water we relaxed. It was just the perfect vacation and the spot had a lot to do with that. We loved it.

Family beach trip

Wonderful beach house. Floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining areas of the house offered amazing views of the ocean. The house also had a great wrap around deck with nice rocking chairs/ outdoor furniture. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the living room and back porch. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Would absolutely stay here again. Our family loved our visit to Folly Beach and the house.

Edge of the Edge (Amazing!!!!)

This was a terrific experience. Turtles, Sharks, Dolphins, Stingrays, and so many fish and shells. Quick dusk walk to the point where you can see the lighthouse reflection on the water. Cold AC, Comfortable beds and furniture, ample kitchen space for 7 eaters, inside spaces, outside spaces, and the East and West Balconies mean that you can see both the sunset and sunrise every day if you want. We will be back next year!!!!!

This property was awesome. The views were breath taking. Everything you needed was there. We were welcomed with a beautiful card and basket of snacks. It was fun having the house to ourselves. With a perfect location on the beach, this home is managed by incredibly thoughtful owners! Welcomed with a basket packed with delicious treats and a kind note from the owner listing favorite activities, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. This home is well-stocked with blankets, beach towels, and kitchen items. We did not need a thing! The owners even decorated for Christmas with a tree and cheery wreaths on the porch! A family Christmas to remember! Many thanks to the owners who shared their slice of heaven with us!

Older - but ON the BEACH

Honestly the pictures didn’t do this place justice. It is literally ON the beach (30 steps away). The home is definitely older with all older equipment - but we actually enjoyed it more because of that. Such a FUN & relaxing home and location for all 2 months to 70 years old Big enough & tons of beds to make sure everyone enjoys their vacation Couple of down falls 1) it is at the end of the road & the start to where everyone goes to see the light house. So you have a TON of foot traffic & cars making u-turns + parking right in front of the home 2) the grill that was provided had soooo much grease on it, the second We went to barbecue. The whole thing started on fire. And luckily for us the hose reached and we were able to put the fire out very quickly because the fire extinguisher was not working 3)tv are small and didn’t get a ton of Chanel’s (but who cares - we weren’t there for that)

Beautiful stay at THE Best Location!

This house was such a nice quiet retreat on Folly, which can be a bit hectic closer to the center of the island. We loved how very private the beach was and the absolute gorgeous view from inside the home and its covered back porch facing the ocean. There isn't much shade on the back porch but it was enough for 2or 3 of us to be in the shade during mid day and then of course, mornings and evenings were perfect out there!! The upper deck was gorgeous in the late evening sunset hours!! We had 10 family members and there was plenty of room. Only 1 queen bed so it was a tight squeeze in the other room which was listed as Queen but in fact is a double bed. My husband and I made do and the absolute breathtaking view and location of this house made up for the small bed. (owner may want to get a Q later down the road - plenty of room for the larger bed) The kitchen was well stocked , minus a stock pot which we went out to buy for a shrimp boil we had planned. We cooked all meals but 2, in. The decor was really pretty and the home was perfectly clean! The fact that there were so many twin beds was really nice as we had more individuals, rather than couples. This house is a gem on the island - the owners have a really really nice spot on the coast and we appreciate them opening it up to us!!! We have stayed in 4 different houses on the island and it was my favorite!!!! The Views and the Peace!!!
