About this property

Oceanfront home on the Schoodic Peninsula

This is an 1850 sq ft cedar shingled home nestled on the shore of Gouldsboro Bay. This fully equipped home boasts open concept Kitchen/Dining/Living/Sun room with spectacular ocean views, 3 bed 2 bath and a library/reading room off the master bedroom that may be used as an additional bedroom. The property is a one-acre landscaped lot with 240 ft. of bold ocean frontage.

The home is located in the village of Corea in the town of Gouldsboro, ME on the Schoodic Peninsula. This area is known for its "real Maine" feel. Nearby Corea Harbor is a working commercial harbor filled with lobster boats. The Schoodic section of Acadia National Park is just a 10-minute drive away. Bar Harbor is approximately a 1-hour drive. There are a few local shops and restaurants, but the overall feel of the area is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of other tourist towns.

The home sleeps up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. Second bedroom has an antique full-sized bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a reading room/library off the master bedroom with a pocket door for privacy that has an additional full bed. Two couches are readily available in the living room/sun room. Additionally, for young visitors there is a twin mattress that can be used on the floor or a pack and play that can be set up.

Perfect getaway
Pictures can't do this house justice. House was very clean, with a beautiful view of the water. In a very quiet location...perfect for relaxing. Easy day trip to bar harbor/Acadia National Park. We definitely will be coming back in the future!

Don't pay for insurance
The beds were not very comfortable. We had to leave early due to a work related situation. We had the insurance but it was denied. Don't pay for the insurance , it is a rip off.

Awesome view
Love the "sun" room. Which is first thing you notice. Our own fault was timing, lots of things closed but enjoyed our stay.

Very nice beach front house with great views
Very spacious and clean with a very large kitchen and living area. Large yard with fire pit, BBQ grill and a double chair positioned on waters's edge, so you can watch lobster and other boats. Thanks!

Beautiful sunrise and moonrise over the water
My family of six adults enjoyed this property. Very spacious. Well stocked. Fantastic waterside location for beautiful sunrises. We enjoyed the fire pit by moonlight too. Lots of brochures, maps, history. The washer and dryer are a real saver. Smaller suitcases! There is an hour ride to spend a day at Acadia NP, but we prefer nearby Schoodic for the smaller crowds. Plenty to do. And the Schoodic point has plenty of room for wave watching. Thank you Josh and Megan. I recommend it.
