Find nature and serenity between lake and mountains, 5 minutes from the villages of La Balme and Sillingy and 20 minutes from the historic center of Annecy and its lake.
Stay in a 19th century farmhouse, completely renovated and offering great comfort. The owners who have lived for years on the three continents of Africa, Asia and America have brought back items that give bedrooms and the home a personalized decoration inviting to travel. The house was designed to offer a warm and welcoming setting, it was the project of departure of the new owners of the places since January 2018.
The Farm has stone walls 80 cm thick, well insulated and which protects from the heat of summer. In winter, excellent insulation and underfloor heating provide great comfort.

The region - Annecy and the Alps
It takes a minimum week or more to discover the region. To cite a few avenues of discovery:
• the old town in Annecy, the Venice of the Alps, the surrounding mountains with the Aravis massif, the Bauges or even excursions around the lake, on the Semnoz.
• proximity to Switzerland for a day trip, Geneva and the shore of Lake Geneva to Montreux.
• The south shore of Lake Geneva, with Yvoire, Thonon or Evian.
• Closer to La Ferme de La Balme, the Bauges region, the farm visit and regional gastronomy.
• Sports activities abound: hiking, climbing, sailing, paragliding, mountain biking, or simply swimming in the purest lake in Europe.


Practical details:
Provision of the kitchen for meals that can be taken on the terrace or in the living room / kitchen in case of rain.
Preferably, arrivals (after 4 p.m.) and departures (before 11 a.m.) are on Saturdays and the rental is scheduled for the week, however see the dates available for shorter reservations.
The owners occasionally come to take care of the garden or the property, without disturbing the tenants of course (pool maintenance, lawn, vegetable patch).

To relax:
A large terrace, a 6000 m2 garden, a vegetable patch and its greenhouse where the owners practice permaculture, a swimming pool made available (certain rules apply).

Reception: on arrival the owners will give you all the necessary information, advice on going out in the region, wifi access, etc.
Security deposit: a security deposit of € 500 euros is required on arrival - it will be refunded at the end of the stay.
No public transport near the farm, a car is recommended to visit the region.

The rooms:
The Bali room
This is the largest room on La Ferme, with an en-suite bathroom.
Furnished and decorated on the theme of travel to Indonesia and Bali, you will find a relaxed lifestyle and serenity in the heart of the Alps.

Savannah Room
This double room offers the warm setting of Africa with objects collected in West and Southern Africa.
A large King Size double bed, wardrobe, window opening onto the countryside and mountains.
Shower room on the same landing, shared with the Haute-Savoie bedroom. Separate toilets.

Haute-Savoie Room
Two single beds in 90 for this room with a Savoyard chalet atmosphere, decorated in the colors of the region.
Shower room on the same landing, shared with the Savannah bedroom. Separate toilets.

Note that some rooms in the house are inaccessible (office - laundry room) and that the owners occasionally come to look after the garden or the property, without disturbing the tenants of course (pool maintenance, lawn, vegetable patch).

The rental is not intended for the organization of events such as weddings, baptisms, etc. with large groups.
