This was a fantastic stay in the heart of Athens. We walked daily to shops, sites, cafes and everything we could possible want. The space was comfortable for our group of 17, clean and modern. Highly recommend.
The manager was helpful arranging transport, and communicated effectively. The property itself is an older apartment, everything worked. It fit a large group but the bathrooms are not ideal for a large group. Overall met our needs.

We just needed a place for one night
The main issue we had was with the bathrooms. There was water on the floors constantly in the bathrooms.
No curtains or privacy and the bathrooms did not have adequate facilities for showers or baths.

My big fat greek family
NIck/Nassos were extremely helpful and answered all our million questions! Location was a short taxi ride away from everywhere we needed/wanted to go, Plaka, acropolis, museums, etc! Plenty of coffee shops and bakeries for breakfast within walking distance. Apartment was a bit dated and a little musty smelling and hot when we arrived (Greece was having an unusual heat wave), however once we put a/c on, it greatly improved! Served our purpose and we had an amazing time visiting Greece! Thank you <3

Bathrooms incredibly dirty and toilets did not work properly
Bedrooms and living areas were clean and goos as you would expect. However the bathrooms were terrible. Water did not flow away in both showers. And toilets did not flush properly even as we did as asked with not throwing toilet paper in de toilet.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Nick was helpful and communicative. The showers definitely needed curtains because water splashed all over. Also, if you are not from Greece, you will want to know that toilet paper goes in the bins next to the toilet. This wasn't entirely clear, as the notice above the toilet said not to throw "paper towels" in the toilet. In the US where we came from, these words don't mean "toilet paper." Nick sorted out my confusion.
We really appreciated having a washing machine and a drying rack on the balcony outside.
In all, a very pleasant stay.

Photos very misleading
First of all, this area of Athens did not offer much to do. I can't blame the host for that, but it's something to bear in mind. The check-in was easy enough, and the host was nice enough, but as soon as I got there I realised I'd been duped. The photos are all really old and the place has deteriorated since then. The paint is pealing, some areas are unclean, and I generally feel catfished. Also, the photos showing rooms with one bed have actually been crammed to fit two or three, so that was a clear deception. It was so bad that we left early. But then, when I asked the host for some form, she didn't even apologise and just ignored my message. Overall, this place is terrible. Be warned!
Location is great. Plenty of space. Older property.
The host, Nick, was easy to reach via VRBO messenger and What’s app. He also helped arrange the 3rd party taxi service for our trip from airport to rental (about 40 minute ride). The flat is located right next to a large grocery store and plenty of bakeries and restaurants. Literally a minutes walk away.
The metro (which I highly recommend because of price and convenience) is a leisure 10 minute walk from property. From there, you can easily access all the historical sites, including the Pantheon.
The only items I would say aren’t bad, but should be known are:
1. Washing machine is small so if you’re coming from USA don’t expect normal sized full loads. There is a drying rack on 1 of the 2 lanais.
2. Towels that come with rental are likely air dried and crunchy (but clean)
3. Rental is on 3rd (top) floor of building and winding staircase to get to top. This is fine, expect when carrying heavy luggage up and down.
Otherwise, internet and cable were great, host was very available for any question, and I definitely recommend this property.
We booked this stay at the last minute after our original accommodation was cancelled.
Nick was quick to response and happy to accommodate for all of our needs, even helping with airport and city transfers!
This provided great relief and peace of mind and gave us a soft landing in Athens. We really appreciate that.
The property itself is a bit run down but very spacious, with lots of rooms and beds. The area is really nice - the property is in a quiet street but with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes, and the metro just around the corner. Overall great value and recommended!
