Gites de Carcouet - Nature and tranquility 30' from Cap Fréhel/Dinan/St Brieuc

The Carcouet gites are located in Plédéliac, on the edge of the Hunaudaye forest, 20 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the 4-lane road and on our farm producing organic milk.
This location is ideal for visiting the northern Brittany coast: Cap Frehel, Saint Brieuc Bay, Saint Malo, the pink granite coast, Mont Saint Michel ...
If you prefer a holiday without too much car, you will have no problem to occupy your holiday with activities within 15 minutes: a hiking trail (GRP tour de Penthièvre) passes in front of the lodgings, the Hunaudaye castle is is 2 km away, the farm of Yesteryear 5 km, Lamballe (national stud farm, Mathurin Méheut museum, les régalades) 15 km.
The lodgings are on our dairy farm in organic farming.

The two gîtes are adjoining, each with a garden and an independent entrance.

Le gîte est calme,propre,fonctionnel.Il est proche de la côte et des grands axes.Les hôtes sont à l'écoute,disponibles,un grand merci à eux.Vous pourrez goûter le bon lait frais,faire une balade dans la forêt juste en face et écouter le brame des cerfs.La Bretagne est reposante comme ses habitants,no stress.Que du bonheur!

Gîte très agréable, propre, lumineux et au calme! Une belle pièce à vivre avec cuisine ouverte et tout le nécessaire pour se préparer de bons petits plats. Deux chambres spacieuses et très propres. Le gîte est très bien situé pour les visites à la journée sur la côte bretonne: cap Fréhel, Saint Malo, le Mont Saint Michel, Dinard, Dinan... De jolies balades autour du gîte, à pied ou à vélo. Les hôtes très accueillants proposent une visite de la ferme, très instructive où nous avons pu goûter le lait produit sur place! Un très bon séjour en famille, les enfants pouvant profiter du jardin. A refaire! Merci encore pour votre accueil!

Wir waren leider nur 1 Woche Ende März in der Bretagne. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben, gut ausgestattet und sauber, sehr gute und bequeme Betten, Bettwäsche usw. Die Küchenausstattung ist auch gut und absolut ausreichend. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig auf dem Land, allerdings etwas außerhalb (man braucht schon zwingend ein Auto), die Vermieterin supernett (auch wenn das mit unserem minimalen Schulfranzösisch teils schwierig war, hat es doch immer irgendwie geklappt sich zu verständigen). Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind im Umkreis von 30-50 min Autofahrt bequem zu erreichen. Leider war eine Woche viel zu kurz um alles zu sehen, was es zu sehen gibt, auch die angebotene Besichtigung des Bio-Bauernhofs der Vermieter haben wir zeitlich nicht geschafft. Darum werden wir wohl wiederkommen "müssen" ;-)

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, les propriétaires sont vraiment de très belles personnes avec qui échanger est vraiment très facile. Le gîte (4 pers) très propre et tout l'équipement de bonne qualité. Situé 30 min et 1h de tous sites à visiter. Nous avons appréciés que le portable ne passe quasi pas, de vraies vacances! Les enfants ont participé à la traite ravis d'avoir eu des réponses à TOUTES leurs questions un très bon moment de partage du métier.

Un site calme au milieu de la forêt, un gîte fonctionnel et agréable, des hôtes très sympas, heureux de faire découvrir leur mode de vie à la ferme. La localisation du gîte permet des activités variées : activités nature (pêche, balade en forêt, vélo), visites du patrimoine culturel, plages, activités sur le littoral. Coin très dynamique, de nombreuses animations sont proposées.
