Everyone loved the place well stocked and very comfortable. The items I would suggest are a new can opener, a metal spatula for the grill, measuring cups and measuring spoons.there were wonderful views and loved the sleeping situation.

We are so grateful to you for sharing! We can not wait to welcome you again to our home.
The cabin had wonderful views. We very much enjoyed the outside areas. The only downside is it isn’t very private. There is a house right next door that isn’t in the pictures. The inside, particularly the kitchen needs some attention. One example is the cabin holds 8 people but there were only 6 coffee cups. All in all a nice cabin, particularly liked having 4 king beds!
This house is very nice & comfortable. The view is amazing!

House was everything we were looking for-location to the Blue Ridge Mountains & Grandfather Mountain, plenty of room for our 3 families & exceptional view! It was our first time exploring the Blue Ridge and NC-proximity to hiking trails and waterfall trails was just perfect! Looking forward to our next NC vacation already!

Thank you so much for sharing. It was a delight having you as our guest and we hope for a revisit soon!
We really enjoyed the house overall. The beds were very confortable and plenty spacious. The views were great.Only areas of concern was the kitchen was very disorganized, the home was not well cleaned and the driveway was basically just a mud pit. Luckily we all had multiple change of shoes because there was no way to get into the house without getting completely muddy.
Great location for snow tubing at Hawksnest. It snowed during our stay. It was beautiful. No problems getting down or up if you have 4 wheel drive. Cabin was comfortable, nice gas fireplace in great room. Guys enjoyed the pool table on the lower level. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The house looks much nicer online than it does in person. The living room and kitchen are small and the furniture is torn and scratched. The house needs a deep clean. The stove had burners that didn’t work, the sink had a leak, and there was trash and a fallen gutter surrounding the property. The view was beautiful.

Alana, thank you so much for sharing. Our apologies for anything that may have detracted from your experience. Upon seeing your comments a complete deep clean was initiated by our Executive Housekeeper. Its our fondest hope that you will schedule a return visit and see the difference.
The property itself is laid out nicely for a family. The four bedrooms are very roomy and comfortable. We did have a problem with the hot water heater the day before checking out and we received an email letting us know that they will be contacting someone but we never heard from anyone. So this resulted in two days of cold showers. Outside of that, it’s a great place to stay! If traveling in the snow, you will need a four wheel drive.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway
The property is in a beautiful quiet area. Property for the most part is well equipped with modern smart TVs, excellent appliances, hot tub, fire table, BBQ. We enjoyed the fantastic views of sunrise and on the back sunsets. However the check in did not go well, the supplier provided the wrong front door code and wifi password via the recommended app. That wasted some time getting in. The second negative is the bad condition of kitchen dishes and utensils. Chipped and cracked dishes, incomplete sets, e.g. bowls. And no BBQ cooking tools. Also no property information binder was found.

Thanks Richard for your business. Our deepest appreciation for taking a moment share what you feel that your experience and the home were lacking. Please know good feedback is an important tool in our on going effort to deliver the absolute best in vacation rental. Your points have been shared with our Home Owner Service Team so as to be shared with the home owners and acted upon. Its our fondest hope that you will revisit us here in the "High Country" . Your check in experience was discussed in depth and what steps we can take to ensure this was an isolated incident. Its our fondest hope that you will come back at some point a see what lessons and improvements were in- acted as a result of your review.
Overall, this was a very good property. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of reasons, though. When we arrived, the hot tub was not working properly. It took 2 visits from the maintenance man to fix it so we didn't have a hot tub for the first 36 hours. Property management was great, though, and was on top of our complaints. This property has an incredible view, but you definitely need to know that it is located at the VERY top of the mountain. I'm pretty sure you cannot go any further. The roads get smaller and more steep as you get closer to the top so be prepared(not a bad thing, just giving you a heads up). And lastly, pay close attention to the add on pricing with this property. I did not and the nightly rate I thought I was getting was not actually the rate at all. There was quite a bit of "extras" added in.

Hi Trish, We were so disappointed that the hot tub malfunctioned on your arrival. Every effort made to get that unit back and running as quickly into your stay as possible. You are correct it is a wonderful property with FANTASTIC views. As is the case in most homes here in the high country its the drive that takes you to the more remote properties, those drives can sometimes not be for the faint of heart. Once you get there though its worth it. Its this reason we strongly emphasize in our email correspondence the necessity of traveling up here in a 4WD and or AWD and or chains. In so far s "extras". We emphasize and stress transparency in the booking and the billing process. We would be more than happy to discuss any questions you may have concerning pricing and fees, let us know and we can call you to discuss at anytime.

Great views, but basic amenities need updating
The location and views of the property can't be beat! The house had a great layout for our group (4 adults, 4 kids), but the house is smaller than it appears in pictures. The home is clean, but the kitchen dishes and utensils need an overhaul. A lot of the dishes were chipped or cracked and there were only 4 bowls for a home that sleeps 8! We asked management for more bowls, but they suggested we buy disposal bowls as they were overrun with holiday requests. Additionally, the kitchen needs more dish towels.
Be aware that there are no fireplaces or fire pits for wood burning. The indoor fireplace is gas logs, which is nice and easy, however we were hoping for an outdoor fire pit to do smores. There is an outdoor fire pit table on the porch, which is also nice, but doesn't work for smores.
The roads in the neighborhood can be slick when icy/snowy, so be prepared for that.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the views, but the house could use some basic amenity upgrades.
We had a great time staying in this home. It had everything we needed and the views were amazing from the home. It was close to Boone and Banner Elk. The home was clean and comfortable. We loved that it had four king beds! Great for couples traveling together.

My family had a wonderful time. The decor of the house was meticulous for the mountain location. The weather turned out so nice and we were able to relax on the porch for most of our 4 day stay. The Mountain View was as spectacular as the pictures show.

Views were amazing. Home was nice and clean.
Kitchen amenities was top notch everything was there to dine anyone! Only thing was the floors squeaked. Would definitely stay there again!
The house was as advertised. The view was incredible and the house was comfortable. It had everything we needed. So many things to do in the Boone/Blowing Rock area for families with kids. We will definitely come back!
