Lovely cottage by the beach!

Seven Oaks Cottage is the Southern charm incarnated: heavenly grounds, century old oaks, Spanish moss and front porch sitting.

Inside, you shall find all modern amenities: comfy beds, power shower and fully fitted kitchen.

We are a stone throw from the beach (and I do throw like a girl!), while Island View Casino is less than 5 min walk.

At equal distance between Gulfport and Long Beach, you can choose the best both towns have to offer.

The cottage has 2 beds and one bath. It can comfortably accommodate 5 people, if one of you is happy to sleep on the couch. Bare in mind this is a couch, not a sleeper sofa. We will provide bedding, blanket and pillows to make you comfortable.

Most Responsive and Gracious Host

The host, Lexi, went out of her way to help us with the TV as we are still old school on cable and lack TV streaming experience. I wasn't wasn't worried as we were planning to be outdoors and the property would have been good for that had it not rained for a week. This space needs the sunshine. I will also note it is next to the track crossing. Train whistles are heard at all times day and night. We got used to it, my husband even liked it. My dog didn't mind but some might. I was thrilled with all the appliances and really happy to have a full coffee maker instead of just a Keurig. On cleanliness, it was clean overall, living room rug could stand to be replaced as it had quite a pet smell. Some Carpet fresh helped considerably. The bath towels were wonderful, felt brand new actually. I did not find the washcloths, also did not ask. I am sure Lexi would have got some for us had I inquired. Location is convenient, easy walk to beach and easy access to all things southern MS has to offer.

I am an avid traveler, always keen to go where I haven’t been before, whether it’s visiting new countries, diving into the “grand blue” or climbing the peaks.

Why they chose this property

We leave in New Orleans, so our interaction with the guest is rather virtual in nature, but we are available to answer your questions or provide local tips.
We spend 50% of our time on the coast and we know all the local hang outs.

What makes this property unique

It is truly a Secret Coast: tucked between trendy downtown Gulfport and bohemian Long Beach, our cottage is a little heaven of tranquility.
Biloxi and Ocean Springs are less than 15 min drive. There you will have Beau Rivage and Hard Rock Cafe if this is a grown ups get away, or Margarita Ville if you travel with kids.
Soon we will be able to enjoy Aquarium and new Water Park, both in downtown Gulfport.

If you fancy water sports, we are at equal distance for Port of Gulfport and Long Beach Marina. We are also 10min away from Pass Christian Harbor. All of them offer cruses and deep sea fishing charters. Our outdoor BBQ area is a great place to grill your catch of the day.
