About this property
Smell the fresh Mountain Air at the "Old Hwy Cabin"
Need to take a break? The "Old Hwy Cabin" is centrally located in the Last Chance area, within walking distance from the world-renowned fishing stream, "Henry’s Fork River". Also located 30 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone Park. You could spend days or weeks enjoying the surrounding mountains and valleys! With year-round access this cabin was built in 2016 on a quiet road. The cabin has all the modern conveniences with the charm of the past. Our comfortable, but rustic cabin is your home away from home. Enjoy sitting out on the deck and watching the sunrise while you drink your morning coffee. Or grilling a steak on the BBQ in the evenings, or better yet cooking a hot dog and roasting marshmallows over the fire as you find the constellations in the sky. (But please practice fire safety! Fire pit for use when fire risk is not high or there is not a burn ban in effect.) Don’t forget to swing some shoes in a friendly game of horseshoes while you’re enjoying the great outdoors. Our cabin is 1950 sq. ft. and has vaulted ceilings with Knotty Pine tongue and groove throughout giving it that rustic country feel. Hungry? After a day of adventure, come home to a kitchen that has everything you’ll need to create a home cooked meal for your family or friends, with seating for 10 available. The Living Room has a 58" SMART TV and a Blue-ray player (DVD’s are not provided), a sofa sleeper and a couch, a gas fireplace will help take the chill off at night while you enjoy a book or a family card game. A small selection of family games and books are available for your use. There is also WIFI access (password provided on-site). The Utility room has a washer and dryer for your use (please provide your own laundry soap) and ample hooks to hang wet items like bathing suits, towels, or snow pants. The Master bedroom is located off the kitchen and has a king size bed, with a TV. The Master Bathroom has a jetted tub to relax in after the days adventures. The upstairs loft is classified as the 4th bedroom with 3 twin size beds, one is a trundle bed. A perfect spot to play a quite game of chess. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen size beds ready for a good night’s rest after a day of hiking, fishing, and exploring. For children, we have toys, games and books as well as a portable crib, and high chair. Our Goal is to make sure our guests have the best experience possible, and to make our guests feel at home!

This is an awesome place to stay! This property has everything needed for a perfect stay. Well stocked in all items you might need and more. This cabin is very clean and did not disappoint. Close to all the sights of the area.
Great place to stay! Check in was easy and the place looked just like the pictures! Only complaint was that the upstairs bedrooms were a little hot at night.
We had a wonderful time! The property was great for our visit to Yellowstone. We cooked in the evenings in the well stocked (pots and pans) kitchen. I definitely recommend booking this property if you are in the area.
This house was in the perfect location for us to fish multiple different rivers and have reasonable access to Yellowstone Park as well. Clean and accurate description of the house helped a lot! I would absolutely recommend this rental!
This property was clean, organized and well stocked with the essentials. The kitchen/dining room was a great place to hang out. I will stay again when visiting this area in the future.
My family and I loved our stay, home is really spacious and fully stocked with with many essentials. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, there’s a nice river close by.
Very cozy house! Very clean and lots of room to spread out. About 1/4 mile from the river and close to some of the best fly fishing in the world. Would stay here again !
Thank You for sharing your beautiful home with us. We really enjoyed staying there and having the convenience of a well stocked kitchen. We would love to come back and stay again sometime.

This was the perfect place for us! We were visiting Yellowstone and this cute cabin was just awesome. It was clean, very comfortable beds, plenty of room for our family of 8. The decor was very fun and well done. The kitchen had everything we needed. My kids loved the jetted tub. Such a small little community so it was nice and quiet. Very easy to find. I would highly recommend staying here. We loved it!!

Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad you had a good time. We really appreciate the positive feedback. The purpose of this cabin is for families to be able to get away and enjoy each other's company and relax. We are so glad you were able to do just that.
We really enjoyed our stay. This was a great home for our multiple family meet up. Plenty of room for everybody to have their own space but be together in one location.
Home was extremely clean and well set up. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great parking for multiple vehicles.
Was nice to be close enough to Yellowstone but yet far enough away so you got away from the craziness of Yellowstone for the night.
We visited the resort across the highway and enjoyed the music on Thursday night.
Thanks for the great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this location! The cabin was spotless and was easy to find. We used the fire pit to make s’mores with the grandkids. The only thing I could recommend is that another AC unit placed upstairs would really help during the hot months. We were thankful for the cool evenings and the oscillating fans.
I’d definitely stay here again and will be sure to recommend this place to our friends and family.
Just what we wanted. Someplace quiet with everything that we needed. We were able to cook/bake our breakfast & return late afternoon to enjoy drinks & grill our supper then enjoy an evening of cribbage. Very clean, beds comfortable, use of washer/dryer, adequate dishes & cookware & basically a home away from home. Pam quickly responded to message regarding a leak & fixed in no time. Highly recommend this rental.
We absolutely loved staying in this home. There were 9 of us and we appreciated having 3 full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and such a great kitchen to cook in. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the 4 roasting forks that were available for guests to use. The kitchen was well- stocked with small appliances: 2 griddles, rice cooker, crock pot, and toaster. There were also plenty of pans and cooking utensils. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available in every bathroom and plenty of towels. We loved staying in this home and would love to return.
When we pulled to the property we immediately thought this is not the place, however it was. The front is completely free range grass in its native form the outside of the property has no mountainous look to it HOWEVER, once we entered the property we were pleasantly greeted with a spacious, clean, very mountainous looking interior. There was ample cookware, utensils, spices and basic kitchen necessities. Beds were comfortable and the A/C came in handy on the warmer days. Do not expect a grandiose view however it is located not far from the highway. Sidenote: If your traveling from afar plan to stop by a grocery store on the way to take advantage of reasonable prices. Once in this area the grocery prices are significantly higher.
We really enjoyed our time in Idaho. It was just 30 minutes to the West entrance of Yellowstone. The house was very comfortable and clean, and the neighborhood was quiet.
