On the Carretera General del Sur km 19.8, a 160 m2 villa with 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a living room.
2000 m2 of garden with pool shared with me.
Barbecue, parking for two cars, wifi and international TV.
Three minutes from Candelaria, a coastal city with a magnificent beach, restaurants, supermarkets and shops/souvenirs.
Twenty minutes from the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Necessary to rent a car for your trips.

Wonderful relaxing break in idyllic setting.

Property was just as described . Absolutely beautiful with gorgeous gardens and pool. Owner was very friendly but not intrusive at all. Views from the balcony were incredible . Easy access to all beaches . A fabulous holiday . We hope to return next year.

Ideal location

Superb house situated perfectly for touring all of the island. Candelaria is a lovely non touristy spot. House had everything we needed and Rafa was a great host. You definitely need a car although there is a bus stop very close by and we used the bus one evening.

Host (Rafael) - 10/10 for communication and discreetness. Rafael lives in a dwelling under the main house. The only times we saw him were when he was cleaning the pool or we had questions. He speaks very good English.Accommodation - 10/10 for cleanliness. Private parking with security gates.Ground floor - Kitchen with all facilities, TV room with sofa and chairs (Spanish/German satellite TV programmes). There is a Firestick available for Netflix, Prime and YouTube (if you have a subscription). Excellent Wifi. Bathroom with a bath and shower. Large bedroom with two single beds and lots of wardrobe space. Small balcony (off the TV room) that is perfect for catching the sunrise.Upstairs - Open plan and very spacious with a double bed, bathroom with bath and shower. Seating area with sofa and chairs. Balcony that has fantastic views of the mountains and the sea.Outside area - 10/10. The gardens are tiered with 2 levels. Both levels are exclusively for guests. Fantastic sun trap. Mercadona, Aldi & Hipodino supermarkets are 10 minutes drive.Recommended - CICAR car hire at the airport. We will definitely return

Very relaxing and great location

You do need a car, and the drive tests your hill start but it was a wonderful place to relax - lovely garden. Very close to Candelaria (5 minute drive to the basilica), and great spot to either drive north to Santa Cruz/La Laguna (20 mins) or further south (Los Christanos, approx 40 mins). The kids also enjoyed the pet chicken Peta on the property. The owner Rafael was very welcoming and a great source of information. Highly recommended.

Wonderfull.

We have just spent 2 weeks in this lovely home. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the house as a base to explore the island. If you want a quiet location, then we would recommend this house.The house is large and spacious. Amazing view from the top balcony. The outdoor grill is a great place to spend the evening. It is necessary to have a car. Rafael is very helpful and a good adviser. There was an internet connection, which was a little slow sometimes, but adequate. 7 minutes to the grocery store. The house is situated 45 minutes drive from the airport. I really liked it and we wish everyone who likes privacy and peace to stay here.

Das Haus ist genauso und wenn nicht sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Rafael ist super nett und immer hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Zentraler Punkt für Ausflüge

Die Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Santa Cruz ist in ca. 15 Mintuten Autofahrt zu erreichen, der wunderschöne Strand Las Teresitas in ca. 25 - 30 Minuten. In den Süden / Süd-Westen benötigt man gut 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Zudem kann man vom Haus aus direkt über eine sehr lange Serpentine in den Teide Nationalpark gelangen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Ein separates Schlafzimmer sowie Küche im Erdgeschoss und ein schöner Wohn-/Schlafbereich im Obergeschoss, mit einem wundervollen Ausblick aufs Meer. Rafa ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er wohnt in einem separat abgetrennten Bereich des Hauses. Bei Fragen steht er stets zur Verfügung und kann gute Tipps für Erkundungen geben. Er kann fließend deutsch, was für viele deutsche Urlauber sicherlich von Vorteil ist. Wir haben uns in der Zeit auf Teneriffa sehr wohl gefühlt.
