Beautiful house in amazing surroundings

We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed our holiday. The house is so peaceful and in the most beautiful surroundings. The communication and help from Alex was brilliant too and although we were totally out of season, so no pool or boat, we had lots of things to keep us and our 6 year old very happy and busy.

Well equipped house for adventures in Skärgarden

We enjoyed a 10 day vacation in this well equipped house. Our teenage kids had a lot of fun with the pool, the bikes and the boat. Communication was really easy and the host Alex quick to answer any questions. Thanks much!

Holiday for family of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex and Emma’s house in the forest - it’s just 45 mins from the city, yet feels further from any hustle and bustle of urban life. We travelled from Ireland with our 3 children (11,10 & 6years old) in August. The kids loved the heated pool and the surrounding decking is perfect for soaking up the sun. The house itself is very well equipped with everything a family our size might need. We did not use the annex, but there are 2 beds there to accommodate a larger group. We fished from the shore, rowed in the boat and cycled and swam on Skarpö . We saw lots of wildlife - we even spotted a moose one day just behind the property in the woods!!

Tolles grosses Haus mit top Ausstattung in toller Natur

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zum Empfang im Haus standen Blumen auf dem Tisch, alles war schön sauber und der Grill war schon mit Kohle gefüllt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet ist alles da was man braucht. Küche ist voll ausgestattet, grosser Grill. Outdoorspielzeug für die Kinder. Der Pool ist beheizt und ein grosser Pluspunkt. Die Umgebung ist Natur pur, trotzdem in 10 min zum nächsten Supermarkt der alles für den Alltag hat, grössere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind 30 min weg. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Underbart inredad hus med allt man behöver

Vi hade det sa jättetrevlig i huset i en vecka i April/Maj. Huset är modernt och fint inredad med allt man behöver t. ex. i köket. Solen skiner genom dem manga stora fönster. Flera terrasser, stolar, stort bord ... Sängarna är bekvämt - och den bästa: Vatten kommer ur egen källan - det var sa läcker!! Tack Alex & Emma! --- Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im April/Mai. Das Haus ist modern und schick eingerichtet und man findet alles, was man braucht, z.B. in der Küche. Durch die vielen großen Fenster scheint immer irgendwo Sonne herein. Es gibt mehrere Terrassen mit Stühlen, großem Tisch. Die Betten waren superbequem - und das Beste: Das Wasser kommt aus einer eigenen Quelle. Es schmeckte so köstlich! Danke Alex & Emma!

Mooi verblijf in de archipel van Stockholm

Het huis ligt op een mooie plek in de natuur, dicht bij het water en heeft een eigen zwembad. Ideaal voor kinderen/pubers en een mooie uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en boottochten naar de eilanden. Wij hebben er een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Enige minpunt is de badkamer, die is erg klein voor een gezin met 3 pubers. Het contact met de gastheer is erg prettig.

A perfect retreat for our Sweden-trip in autumn

We have just returned from our wonderful 5 day-trip at Emma & Alex cosy home in the archipelago of Stockholm. We travelled with one mom and six teenagers between 15 and 19 and I can only say that we had a marvellous time together. The house is perfectly situated just 45 min.from Stockholm, but far ernough in the countryside to get that feeling of being surrounded only by forests, lakes, nature, silence. The house is fully equipped with everything one can wish for, and can easily host 8 people. We spent 2 days strolling around the capital and two days on and at the water, taking the ferry as far as the small island Sandhamn. We even saw three elks, which was really special for us, living in Germany. In october, of course, it was a bit cold and grey outside, but in the house we used the cosy fireplace and decided that there is no such thing as bad weather. The communication with our kind hosts functioned perfectly and we will certainly come back one day, if we may.
